I am on birth control pills (never really had a problem with them) and for the past few weeks I have been on 2 different antibiotics (Augmentin 875mg) and (Doxycycline 100mg) I am also supposedly positive for Lymes Disease. I had unproteced sex with my boyfriend at like around 1:30 or 2 am and during and after I had bleeding until about early afternoon the same day (today) I feel like I have cramps.

your not supposed to play with birth control. i did it once a few years ago so i wouldnt get my period, and instead i got my "period" for pretty much the whole two weeks i was down in florida.
theres nothing wrong with having a period on vaction. use tampons and lots of midol. just because it worked for your mom doesnt mean it will work for you.
I was wondering if anyone else has taken Augmentin. I was prescribed it for a double ear infection. Originally I was given acetic acid drops but they aren't working.
I plan on calling my OB in the morning to double check. They are pregnancy category B. Although they are thought to be safe not many studies have been done on them. I'm nervous about everything. This is my first pregnancy and I am only 18.

The paragard is the only birth control that worked for me after my son. It's a non hormonal IUD so no regular birth control side effects come along with it. I loved it and will be getting another one put in after this baby!
It's actually safer then most birth control in my opinion. Only thing I dislike was the amount of time the bleeding took place. But it definitely didn't cause any problems as far as cramps or anything to that nature but I'm preg now so I won't say its the most preventable method lol but hey nun are . I just knew I wasn't doing the mirena or whatever it's called had to many family members and friends have problems and have to have it removed.
