Augmentin bloody stool

Common Questions and Answers about Augmentin bloody stool

Avatar m tn Hi - I have Celiac & its a challenging diet at times (worst part is high cost of items!). Your symptoms are eerily similar to mine & I went from 170lbs to 113lbs. Bloody/mucus-y stool, severe pain in ULQ, bizarre & loud sounds in my gut. Not sure of your situation, but ERs have to stabilize patient prior to release. Maybe state medical assistance or SSI (not disability, soc security ins for urgent medical).
Avatar n tn I took the antibiotic which seemed to clear up what I thought was a sinus infection but I still wasn't feeling better and my glands were very swollen (they still are too a degree). The doctor prescribed Augmentin due to the remaining swollen glands and remaining flu like symptoms. On April 16th, I had tingling in my hands and feelings of pure exhaustion. My blood pressure was lower than normal (for me) and I felt somewhat light headed.

Avatar m tn You also don't HIV by just saliva you have to have bloody gums and that kind of thing (regarding your tooth brush). But you are talking about the folliculitis? It is contagious and depends on what bacteria is in the follicules. It is usually Staph. But with the eosinophilic It can also be yeast or mites. They need to test the wounds if they haven't yet. If you can find out what the follicules have it would be helpful. What was your CBC like?
Avatar n tn Hi Heydiddyrandom, I am sunnyspell above, ok I had all of that and it was bloody distressing so I know what you are going through. I have looked for medical help in a lot of places, my golden rule however is to never keep a Doctor's opinion if isn't satisfying. I also do my research, but hey be carefull internet sources can be overwhelming and also distressing so don't think all of the sudden that you are going to pass away.
Avatar n tn Since approximately early October, I have had severe sinus headache, pressure, dizziness (off balance feeling), and a general lethargic feeling. I went to my GP, who prescribed Augmentin, which did nothing. Last week, I saw an ENT, who prescribed Prednisone for 6 days, Levaquin, Ambifed, and Nasonex. Talk about being medicated! I felt better the first 3 days and now am back to feeling horrible again.
