It is highly likely that Augmentin in the dose and duration I just recommended would abort incubating gonorrhea -- which almost certainly you didn't catch anyway. You can safely take the drug then continue unprotected sex with your wife.
The problem here isn't just STD; you apparently are reacting emotionally to the sexual event, perhaps conflicted about your own sexual orientation or preferences. But this isn't a counseling service, so that will be all for this thread.
I am also more convinced that my symptoms were due to a cold and not pharyngeal gonorrhea. I did run to the health clinic this morning and at their recommendation did have my throat cultured (even though I'm on the antibiotic). I suspect that this test will come back negative.
Would you advise that I get another culture after I get the results of the most recent culture and have completed my course of antibiotics, or just drop it and not worry about it?
Just not sure if the Cipro for 5 days and Amoxcillin-Augmentin on top of the doxcycline would have cured gonorrhea. I do not want to go to and ENT and then find out that I have an STD. So I am watchful waiting to see why I am having these throat and ear problems to hopefully clear if it is gonorrhea in my throat. What is the average cure time for gonorrhea without treatment, if known....I can find no definitive cure and time rates on line. Vance2335 appreciate your counsel....

On the other hand, you could have gotten either NGU or gonorrhea from her performing it on you. The best way to assess this is with an examination and testing for gonorrhea or white blood cells in either your urine or in a swab from your penis. To be honest, I think it is very unlikely that you got an STD of any sort from the exposure you describe.

Is it possible that i irrateded my urethra from this. on may 5 i took some augmentin 4 pills 875mg and 2 pills the each day following. Total 14 pills. Stupid i know.
I have no discharge in the morning and urinating only hurts when i squeeze my penis before urinating.

Your chances of having syphilis are virtually zero. Both the Augmentin and the ceftriaxone have substantial activity against syphilis and would have prevented development of a syphilis lesion. That you developed a lesion after taking these antibiotics assures me that this is not syphilis. As far as what it might be, antibiotics have no meaningful activity against herpes or other viruses and thus this might be an initial episode of HSV or, some other, non-STD viral infection.
Two days later I was treated for a sinus infection and was prescribed 875mg augmentin 2x day for 7 days. Exactly 5 days after the exposure I noted some mild burning and pain at the tip of my penis. I have a history of prostatitis and I believe that's what this was (perineum pain, mild tip of penis pain). No pain on urination and no discharge. The symptoms resolved after about 10 days.
(2) My major concern would be Gonorrhea and the failure of the above antibiotics to clear the disease and the possibility that I still carry the disease and that my symptoms sore throat and stopped/ringing ears will continue until I recieve more and different antibiotics. 120 days of symptoms and 3 separate courses of antibiotics and my symptoms seem to be intensifying. Would you consider this a possible treatment fail? Could I, in your opinion still be infected, if I ever was?
It is possible but uncommon to catch NGU from oral sex. As for your test results, the gonorrhea and chlamydia results show for sure you were not infected during the oral sex 2 weeks ago. You were tested much too soon to detect syphilis or HIV (4-6 weeks is the earliest), but there is no chance for either of those infections from that event so it doesn't matter and you don't need any further testing.
I have been noticing a mucus looking discharge from my penis, which looks milky in the morning, it also burns sometimes when i urinate and my penis tip and urethra itches. I did a slide and swab test of the discharge and it showed that i had a staphylococcus haemolyticus infection. I also did gonorrhea, chlamydia and HIV tests which came back negative. My doctor gave me one dose of Zitromax, in addition i had been taking Augmentin for about 6 days due to a sinus infection.
