626299 tn?1316707893 Vertex does have a copay help program which give a 20% copay help. After a 20% copay card from Verrtex, my out of pocket, roughly $14,000 for a 12 week treatment. 1012649 tn?1256229718 Hi. My doctor recently changed my meds from Atripla to the same combination but in two tablets which is Sustiva and Truvada which has emtricitibine in it too. I checked, and these are the same ingredients in Atripla. He changed it because I had a "blip" in my viral load. Viral load was at one point after taking Atripla "undedectable" for about 10 months, then went up to 45 then 3 months later tp 65.
572651 tn?1530999357 The mfg of Lunesta will send you a discount card that will pay your copay on insurance, up to $50 per month ($600 per year) if you use their sleep medicine. I figure this is information worth sharing with you ..... http://www.lunesta.com/dreamkit/lunesta-savings.html?

1831849 tn?1383228392 Laura, aka Lulu54 mentioned that there may be copay assistance programs available. I went to the Genentech website and found a wealth of information about assisatance for payments associated with many conditions. None of these were MS. I have a call in to them. but sustpecty that since Rituxan for MS is off label there is no program at Genentech. Does anyone know of any fiancial assistance programs for Rituxan?

Avatar n tn RibaPak / Ribasphere If you carry commercial insurance*, the Ribasphere Ribapak Copay Savings Card may reduce your monthly copay. If you have not yet received this card from our office, you may obtain your card online by visiting www.ribapak.com/savings. If you are uninsured, contact the Ribacare Patient Assistance Program at (866) 650-7422 Don't give up. It would a shame if you had to stop treatment over red tape.
Avatar m tn so i have stopped trustiva ( atripla ) after 4 ays of consumption ( 4 tablets ) ... have i done right by stopping trustiva ( atripla ) .... Pls give me ur valuable advice and suggestions..
Avatar f tn I started meds fairly soon after. I started Atripla in 2010. It got be undetectable quickly and has kept that way. I never had major bad side effects on it. I did have some crazy dreams and still do. After I was on it for a couple years, things began to slowly deteriorate. I began getting panic attacks, and bouts of tachycardia and palpitations. I had a history of those but it seemed to get worse.
393432 tn?1212209678 That's a tough situation. Depending on your financial situation, you may want to look into Bristol-Myers Squibb Company to see if they have a patients assistant program. Changing insurance is a possible consideration. Baraclude comes in 0.5mg and 1mg. If you have to go with Baraclude, check the cost for the 1mg compare with the 0.5mg. If they cost you about the same out of pocket, go with the 1mg, cut it in half and you get twice the dosage.
Avatar m tn nPEP success rate is 86% apx.
Avatar n tn I took that to a specialist who saw the test, looked me over and gave me Atripla to start to be safe. She also sent me off for more tests, elisa and others. I also now took a PCR DNA thats not back yet. I went to a free clinic that gave me a rapid test that came up negative. I am wondering if four days now of Atripla could cause that to be negative? I am wondering if Atripla after four days will make my DNA PCR test invalid?
1391695 tn?1298139789 That happened to me, and while I paid the first time out of pocket, the second treatment I went through the mfgr’s patient assistance program; they paid for 100% of both meds, with no copay or deductible to meet. Also, these drugs often require prior authorization; sometimes that can take a week or more to arrange. It’s not quite like filling a prescription for penicillin or something; it’s often a bit more involved.
Avatar m tn Late at night on 6/11, I had brief unprotected insertive vaginal intercourse with a 22 year old CSW (stripper in Vegas) of unknown risk. I've read on this site that very few CSWs in North America are HIV positive, but she was Asian (she said Japanese, but I don't really know) with a pretty thick accent, so I don't know how long she has been in this country. The potential exposure lasted no longer than 30 seconds and there was no ejaculation.
667078 tn?1316000935 Alex, I believe Rebif has gone to a no copay for life, program. But I don't know what their fine print reads, especially if you are on medicaid or any other government assistance. Have you talked with a case worker at SS or just the telephone answerers?
Avatar n tn The patient can have no public or private prescription insurance and have an income at or below $25,500 for an individual ($34,500 for a family of two, $43,000 for a family of three) The patient must be 16 years or older. A doctor can only have two patients on the program at any time, unless the doctor is treating over 60 patients with opiate addictions, then the doctor can have three. Application Process: The doctor/doctor's office should call for an enrollment form.
Avatar m tn hello there,we're on thesame regimen.i recently changed from sustiva to norvir, truvada and reyetaz.i've been on this for 8months now but no s/e.i had uti once, but that's about it.what was ur cd4 count before u got on the meds?
667078 tn?1316000935 I am so glad to hear that copay program worked out for you. I started writing a response to this program the other day but deleted it because i was being to negative and unhelpful with what I started to say. But the jest of it was exactly what you had already mentioned and that is the privacy issue. The wording on the application said I had to "agree" not to go off the medicine without my doctor's approval. And that approval had to be routed through them (SS).
Avatar n tn Hello, I have been taking interferon and ribavirin for 32 weeks and other then a few side effects that I have been able to deal with the treatment is working well. My problem is that our insurance won't cover the $150.00 copay because that portion is used up.I haven't been able to work in nearly 5 years because of COPD and other health problems and if I can't find a program somewhere that will cover the copay I will have to stop treatment.
Avatar f tn we dont qualify because he has insurance but with the copay its about 700 dollars just for the injection per month, that not including the pills
572651 tn?1530999357 m finding that so many of these drugs have special offers on their websites to help cover the copay cost. Big Pharma definitely wants us using their pills.... If you have a name brand drug you are using, be sure to look at their websites to see what special offers might be going on. I just started Restasis last week and they have all sorts of incentives/rebates to use their eyedrops.
Avatar m tn Costs are unbelievable! Any military vets out there should see if they qualify for VA care...my boyfriend pays a $7 copay each for his interferon and ribavarin...no copay for medical visits. Don't have to have a service connected disability either....just have to meet the requirements to receive VA care.
Avatar m tn Atripla is not a good choice then.
