Hi, I was on the pill Apri for a little over a yr. Had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy for endo, a polyp and a cyst. After that I wanted to try for a baby. Anyways, I stopped my birth control the same day I had my surgery and I've never had a problem. I'm not sure about everyone but that was what happened to me. Everything was fine. I had surgery on June 25th, 2010 and so it's been almost 3 weeks. I hope this helps. Good luck, take care!
She is quite nervous about the side effects. We dont really know what to expect as I have heard different things from different doctors and nurses. I know it probably effects people differently but I am just wondering if anyone has had any similar experiences that they could share with me as to what to expect?
Everybody is different, so it's hard to tell you that you will have certain side effects, when you might be one of the people who doesn't have that side effects. But, here are some common ones that are experienced by many using Interferon and Riba (I didn't find Sovaldi to have any additional side effects than I normally would with the Peg/Riba).
1. Extra tiredness/fatigue.
Does anyone know when the side effects start on clomid? I'm on 50mg and it's my first cycle on them and I took mine day 2 to day six as instructed and never noticed any side effects on week one or two but from day 19 of my cycle i've noticed small changes, tiredness, breast tenderness, mood changes, sickly feelings, intollerance to certain smells and been a little light headed sometimes.
s thru the years (at different times for each), and some were a breeze to start, others had some pretty awful side effects. The good news is...those side effects started improving for me usually by the 2nd week, and once they started getting better, they went away pretty quickly.

However recently I have noticed that the color of my blood (taken to test blood sugar) is a distinct chocolate-brown color similar to whenever I have had to use Nitro tabs/patches for angina attacks. I have also been affected by regular bouts of diarrhea. Are these side effects to be concerned about given the somewhat more beneficial effects and if so what could I do about them?

I will be talking to my doctor about need of iodine, radiaton treatments or possible surgery but he wants to see if medication works first, Has anyone experianced how this medication works and if there are any side effects or if you know of good outcomes on methimazole. Also any tips on keeping weight off or best way to get it off? I am esp, worried about more weight gain. I do appreciate all the notes and tips from all of you who have given me advice and help so far on this sight.

I was on Ortho Tri Cyclin when I first got married and it gave me really really bad chest pains. I went to the ER one night for fear of having a heart attack. After stopping the pills I felt fine though :). They said that particular pill was probably to strong for me. It scared me so bad I never tried birth control again for a long time! Then years later my dr. put me on Apri and it was wonderful. :) They say you have to find the right one for you and I believe that.
Hi, that product has about an 85% success rate at preventing pregnancy when taken correctly. And that means following the directions to a T. If it says to take two tabs on the instructions, TAKE the two tabs!!!! The difference of postinor 1 versus postinor 2 is that the 2 takes TWO pills. So, ya, you should take it. But again, read the instructions. Know that this isn't the first choice for many doctors for emergency contraception.
I too have just come off these tabs with simular side affects. One cheek on face is swollen all though this last week a little less. I wish I'de never taken it but like yourself it cleared my lichen planus in mouth. I think being on it for just a month you may see your face return to normal soon I hope. I also had a racing heart and insomia.
I had my sister read the side effects and so she keeps tabs on how I am feeling, in regards to the papers saying that it can cause suicidal thoughts in some people. I have had none of those. I was constantly afraid and tense and nervous and had a feeling of dread before I started the Zoloft and that is a terrible way to feel! I am feeling much better now. I hope you get some relief soon!
