I don't know if this is appropriate to post here but I would like to put our some advice to those buying pure bred dogs. Reputable breeders do a lot of research into the breeding of their stock. Those that want to maintain the quality of the breed, do not want to breed dogs that can pass on problems!! If a breed is prone to hip dysplasia, eye problems, skin problems, thyroid problems.

The only rule that the AKC has regarding the registering of litters is that both of the parents of the puppies must be registered dogs of the same breed. The relationship of those dogs to each other has no bearing at all on whether or not the litter is registerable. What you need to keep in mind, however, is that breeding a dog to one of its own offspring is a VERY close inbreeding.

They want you to send them money for "shipping charges" and refuse to give a contact number or any info. I repeated asked for recent photos of the puppies but of course they can't send any because they have downloaded "fake" photos as the puppies they are giving up for adoption.

If my bf and I were to split up, his dog is registered to him and mine is registered to me. But we would both miss the other dog terribly. Sometimes, people have a hard time getting over selfishness when their first child is coming. They feel like they have nothing to claim anymore. I would put your foot down though, his behavior seems a bit extreme.

Anyway she has never tried to fence in her dog and her dog ended up pregnant and having 7 puppies. I started feeding her when I noticed her eating grasshoppers and digging through my trash to find food. She was skin and bones and I knew she was pregnant so I started putting food outside my gate to feed her.

American consumers will continue to buy puppies because 1) puppies in stores are cute and 2) its really convenient. Instead of working through legislatures, why not put some money up front to help develop an enforcement agency/operation/organization that can help police breeders and help educate future pet owners? As it stands now, each new law that passes in every state adds to a financial burden at a time when it is difficult to get funding for any project.

I think its fine. Puppies are always amazing pets. My dog had 3 puppies and we have them all. They're a year old so we have 4 dogs in total . They know where to go to thw bathroom and they also know when to go inside their cages. Since their hair doesnt fall off its perfect. Don't let others imfluence you. Do what'll make you happy but be responsible.

If so I strongly recommend waiting just because puppies require a lot of time and attention and need to be let out a lot to pee at night and newborns need even more attention and if ypur waking to feed the baby and to let the puppy out ypu are going to be even more exhausted. At least wait until you have a routine and things start to settle.

But with your pregnancy it sounds like you are saying you maybe are finding the care of a new puppy too much. If that is the case, you might reconsider the puppy. Poorly trained puppies turn into poorly trained dogs, and nobody wants a poorly trained dog.

I have two different breed puppies. The bigger puppy keeps pinning and standing over the litlte puppy then plays to rough and makes her whine. How do i get him to stop pinning her down and standing over her?
