OK. So I was on Apri for a year when I was with my bf. My last period on Apri was July 18, 2008. After that period, I took about 4 of the pills before I decided to go off the pill for a few months, since my bf and I broke up months ago and I don't like taking medicine/hormones I don't need. Naturally, my period started again a few days after I stopped taking the pill, so maybe the beginning of August. Last week, I made a really stupid, stupid mistake and slept with my ex w/o protection.
how early after sex can i get my pregnancy test done to get an accurate and true result?please tell me the exact date.I had sex on 23 Apri (although i took emergency pills 5 hours later)l and my expected period date is 5 May. i wanna take a test even if i do not miss my period this month.please tell me the exact date
and also tell me which test should i take ? i mean blood or urine? which test is more accurate to detect an early pregnancy and is more reliable?
I'm 25 yrs old, and was on the Apri bcp for exactly "A WEEK," when I notice that my scalp felt like it was burning and it was itching badly. I went to check my head if it was lice or so, and found out that I had a dime size bald spot. I immediately stopped taking the bcp. It's been exactly one month now that I've been bcp-free and still notice that I am shedding tremendously, hair thinning, and found 3 more bald spots.

I have now calculated my APRI score for the seven blood tests done between 2006 and now, and the graph of the scores shows a steady progression from early to later stage fibrosis, which is apparently what has happened. That is, I'm a fast progressor (65 years old, geno 1b, etc.).
I had some really odd symptoms with Yasmin and begged my dr to take me off of it, since then I was on Apri, which is just generic desogen. Initally did much better on this one so I'm not sure how yaz/yasmin works but I can say my withdrawal bleed "period" got way longer on it- I used to only bleed for 4 days on Aleese, then gradually this increased and due to weight gain and water retention switched to Yasmin...
This is my first month ever being on birth control and i'm on the 28-day pack pills called Apri. i started taking the last week the "reminder pills" 3 days ago and the way i understood it is that i'm supposed to get my period on the first day i took the reminder pills...could i be pregnant or is there something else wrong?
My Doctor said I was due Jan 17 I got pregnant apri 24. Which is when I had sex with my fathers son. Well I went to this free thing to see my baby & how far along this lady said I'm I'm only 3 weeks which due date be Feb 2. & said I had sex 13 which I had sex the 11 but I should of still started my period around their & never did so how do I know when I got pregnant?

Hi, I was on the pill Apri for a little over a yr. Had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy for endo, a polyp and a cyst. After that I wanted to try for a baby. Anyways, I stopped my birth control the same day I had my surgery and I've never had a problem. I'm not sure about everyone but that was what happened to me. Everything was fine. I had surgery on June 25th, 2010 and so it's been almost 3 weeks. I hope this helps. Good luck, take care!
It is good to educate yourself and use the resources available to you but try to make note of the more important information and have this ready for questions to ask your specialist. You have a very active life and have taken the right step by eliminating the alcohol (I did the same thing). So remember it is very important to try to maintain the activities that you enjoy during this process.
