Avatar f tn I did my physical examination for spouse china visa but I found out that I am hepatitis B carrier. I was shocked because I didn't know and I don't feel any symptoms. The doctor advised me to see a specialist. I went to see the specialist and he said that I am carrier, it means that the virus is inside my body but it doesn't harm me. He said maybe I got it from my mother. He did some blood test and liver ultrasound, my liver is fine aside from hepatic steatosis(fatty liver).
Avatar f tn Im scares because i had unprotected sex for like a few minutes and i dont know his states and hes from egypt(ciaro) hes an egineer here on temp visa. I knew him for a while but we got an an argument. I made him take hiv test and other std but didnt think of hepatitis b. He said he had a medical exam before he came to get his visa and i believe him but i think u can come here temporary with hep. Idk. Super worried. I grew up in the us. I have really bad anxiety and have been worried.
Avatar m tn hello po, thanks for the post, it gave me hope. Just wanna clarify please, san ka po nagpamedical? thanks a lot.... hopefully mareplyan mo eto....
Avatar m tn Here is my problem. I'm a male living and working in the UAE. The UAE method to deal with HIV is to deport everybody they detect. When you come here and if you want a "resident visa", so you can work here, you have to go through health tests and they are testing you for HIV. Before 65 days I had unprotected sex with a female sex worker.
Avatar f tn nabasa ko message mo at isa din ako na my hepB na naa a-apply for fiancee visa.,tga US din yung fiancee ko and so worried pagdating sa medical na bka ma detect at ma deny...di ako mpalagay sa ganitong situation...pls need your reply..
Avatar m tn Yes, I invited her to come to visit, otherwise she would never have got her visa to US, you need an invitation letter for that. But she had the means to come for her own expenses mostly. So I guess that complicates the answer to questions 2&3. I would believe there will be a lot of difficulties for the hospital in trying to pinpoint from where she came and how to link her to me legally.. Frankly, I do not feel well of not paying someone for the services they rendered.
1306155 tn?1324004540 depende sa type of Visa that your applying kung you need to udergo medical exam that requires HBsAg/HBsAb screening. Depende din if the country that you are applying kung pinapalagpas nila ang in-active CHB carrier. Pag Tourist or Business I quess doesnt require any medical exam kung tama ako. Sa Pilipinas meron diskriminasyon sa mga pag may Hep B due to ignorance. Di nila alam na marami pala sa atin na merong ganun. We are lucky na alam natin na mas maaga to take care of our health.
Avatar m tn I want to go to Australia or Canada for my Higher Studies. will it be a point of concern for me to get a student visa for both these countries? Also i wanted to go to some Middle East countries for job purpose... but they are very strict (I would say they are Nerds).. The just declare anyone medically UNFIT if someone's anti-HCV is positive (even if PCR is Negative). Anti-HCV remains positive forever if you have had HCV in the past.
9095217 tn?1408287670 I can't wait either! I've had a pretty sweet ride so far, but can't help feel a little anxious in these early weeks. Bring on 2nd trimester!
676912 tn?1332812551 Hi ladies, I finally got AF Apr 21 after stopping b/c. So I guess I'm CD 4. I wish all of the ttc ladies good luck, and send lots of baby dust!!!
Avatar m tn This result is a typical lab mistake. It should be stated as hbsag is greater than 250 iU/ml. Uou need to find the lab or maybe pay more to this lab so that they do dilution of the sample. 250 is maximum limit of the analyzer.
Avatar m tn Most of our experience on this forum is limited to the medical side of having hepatitis C. I don't see why hep C would stop you from getting an employment visa but you would have to check with the consulate to see what their requirements are. I have traveled to many countries on a tourist visa and never been asked about hep C. Good luck.
Avatar n tn t believe that HIV testing is required to obtain a visa, but like vance said, if you google it, you could find out for sure. We don't really play the "numbers" game...we assess based on either a person had a risk or did not. You had a risk. A NEG test result at 6-8 weeks would be VERY strong evidence that you did not get infected, but a follow up at 3 months is needed based on current guidelines for a conclusive result.
Avatar m tn //www.visaenterprise.com/requirementsNew.php?destination=Saudi-Arabia From what little I have seen, you would not be allowed to work in arab countries. Don't take my word for it.
Avatar m tn Again in 2010 Jan, I went to saudi arabia on a new visa and my vdrl and tpha both were negative. Now in oct 2011 I again went for saudi medical to go on a new visa, this time my test shows VDRL negative and my TPHA is positive with dilution 1:640. we have tested for my wife and here Tpha is negative. Please suggest me what should i do.
Avatar f tn Worried lang po baka kc ma-deny for US visa application pagdating ng medical exam. May nga nakapasa na po ba having this illness?
Avatar m tn 80 days these also came back negative, on 82th day i came back to UAE and gave VISA medical, ( Please note in UAE HIV testing is mandatory for new visa/renewal visa), i got visa that means 82th day test also came negetive, can i consider these my 4 HIV negetive test on 76 , 78 ,80. and 82 th day antibody test as conclusive?..Still i get freequent fever/ cold.. what could be the reason...still chances of HIV?

Avatar f tn My concern is that coming days I have medical appointment for U.S immigration visa which I have waited for so long. Will this effect on my visa or not...
Avatar f tn They don't check for that when going to the USA. Even if you are applying for a job, they don't check for that here. They do check for HIV, TB, syphilis (?), but not hbv. In other words, there are no blood tests performed specifically to see if you are HBsag+.
Avatar m tn In Abu dhabi,UAE the medical test for visa is done in every two years which includes HIV test also. Apart from that there is Occupational health screening for food handlers and restsurants which is done every year(periodically) in al madina occupational health centre which includes blood test also. My question is does this medical include HIV test?
