Well as some know I had a 3 day transfer on Saturday. My RE told me all 3 of my eggs had fertilized and were grade A. We transferred all 3. She told me they were transferring at day three because I didn't have that many eggs. Which i believe it's because a d**n nurse did not relay the correct information to me. I was supposed to be taking 225 in morning and 225 in evening after first ultrasound.

Our ivf lab does assisted hatching for all 3 day transfers and we got our bfp. Good luck to you!

m just wondering if anyone out there has had sucess with IVF after 5 stimulated cycles with 10 transfers??? Two in at a time??? As that is me, have had not one pregnancy out of it all. I don't know what is wrong as they look great before transfering. Even one scientist said we'll see you in a few years for number 2. But nothing!!!! Wanting to do another cycle but just scared. I want to be a mum and to love a child of my mine. Oh to hold and look into their eyes for the first time...

The difference between 3-day and 5-day transfers is that with 5-day transfers you have a better idea of the quality of the embryos, so it's easier to pick the stronger ones. Another thing that can help is ICSI, especially if you have male-factor infertility. That's when they inject each egg with a sperm, instead of letting the sperm penetrate the eggs themselves. And lastly, fertility clinics have different success rates, so the place you go can technically impact the results, too.

were frozen (delayed transfer to make sure my lining was perfect for ET). 5 of them survived the thaw and while I was pleased with that #, I was pretty bummed to hear their growth results when I went in for transfer. Three of the 5 were only at 3 cell w/ considerable fragmentation; the other two were somewhat better, but not where they really should be by day three -- one was a decent looking 4 cell, the other a good looking 5-cell (minor frag on both).

I think most clinics do either day three or day five transfers but I have heard of some transfers being done on day two, but I am not sure there is an advantage to doing this. Did you only have one embryo transferred?

Don't worrie to much RE's do embryo transfers any were from 3 to 5 day it all depends on how your eggs are doing or what your RE is used to doing ! it is all about the same each day the embryo has divided a little more my RE dose 3 day transfers because he belives the embryo's do better in the usterus than in the dish but my RE transfers more embryo's than most because on that ! And he has higher twins then most but I am okay with that !

On Apr 18 I went and got tested for hiv, 4th generation test which was non reactive. On Apr 20th I felt swollen lymph nodes on the left side of my neck, the are normally not palpable but they were small and seedy like. On apr 27, I started having random twitching everywhere in my body. on APR 30, I started having what felt like kidney pain. I went to the dr and he started me on abx for a possible uti.

Delivery date 8th Feb. bleeding date 6th Apr, 8th APR, 11th APR, after that no bleeding. please tell me what should be normal schedule after Delivery. Previous date was 16th May 2009.

Ok.... So for the month of April, I've had two cycles. The first one was heavy(Apr.5th-9th) and the second one was light and was pink in color every time I wiped. I had sexual inter course on Apr 14 and then again on May 3rd as I was coming off my cycle.... My question is could I be pregnant?

I'm having trouble understanding all this. I have bbeen on this site since Apr. Only thing ever addicted to is cigarettes. I hhave read all posts old and new. Simce been off Percocet my life has gone down hill drastically. I listened to every specialist take percs. Than had to move back to Ca take care of parents.

5-day worked for me...but I also know of others on here who had a successful 3-day! Best of luck with your IVF!

I began to miscarry on Apr 22 but it was not known or confirmed until Apr 28. I was suppose to be 10.5wks but the baby had stopped growing at 8wks. I passed everything on Apr 29 but my bleeding & cramping did not stop until May 7. My question is could I have ovulated a few days after everything passed like on May 1? I felt the normal pain that I have during ovulation but most ppl say they dnt ovulate til 2wks after. I didn't on my 14th day.
