This apparently is widely accepted as a measurement tool for balance ability in older folks (that's me), but also in people with neurological diseases. I found out the results of this and other tests today when I had my PT appointment.
I seem to have a balance score of 46 out of 56, which isn't too bad. The PT said that under 48 indicates some likelihood of falling, though when I googled the BBS I found that 40 is the magic number for some purposes.

So I just went to pee like 5 mins ago, and I wiped once and there was blood on the toiled paper. It was like a few drops of light red, like when you first get your period. A very small amount, I kept wiping for more but nnothing was there. My concerned is, is this was to be me losing my mucus plug shouldn't there been some sort of mucus??. Because there wasn't.

I haven't had it as far as I know, but since I have never been tested for it, my midwife told me how to balance out nutrition. You don't have to stay away from carbs. You just need to make sure you balance the carbs with protein. So if you eat a baked potato, be sure to add cheese and other protein filled things to keep that balance.
One of my favorite things to make is fried potatoes with cheese, eggs, and turkey bacon (since I don't care for pig bacon).
I am convinced that my 22 yr old daughter has a Chirai 0!!!! We have been doctoring for over 6years, have seen up wards of 30 plus doctors and spent a whole lot of $ to figure out what is making her soooooo sick!! Her quality of life is NOT well and being her Mom I have spent endless hours researching and EVERY TIME all symptoms take me to a CHIARI!!!!! Her MRI and test have said all NORMAL......I would give everything to see my girl have the life she so wants and deserves!!!!
For about 9 months now I have been struggling with my balance it started last dec when I was trying to walk across a parking lot and it felt like I was on a moving sidewalk or slippery but it wasn't the feeling as come and gone until July when it changed to feeling like I was trying to walk on a small row boat that was in a river when I close my eyes and try to stand on one foot I start to fall over.
