now i am developing the same pain again after about 20 hours, so i want to ask can it be appendicitis even if ultrasound doesnt show it? one of my friend got operated last month, she was having the same pain but ultrasound didnt show anything even then she got operated n now is fine!
When I had appendecitis I woke up in pain with a lot of abdominal pressure and was admitted for surgery that day. It felt like I was really constipated or something (sorry TMI), and was nauseous. It sounds like the pain you are having is more likely related to the pcos. I have had ovarian cysts in the past and it felt a lot like what you are describing. I'm not an expert, just my personal experience.
For 2 weeks now my 14 year old daughter has been having lower right abdominal pain, fever, dizziness, weakness, and nausea. We have been to the ER twice and our doctor three times. She has had a CBC (normal), 2 external ultrasounds (normal), 1 internal ultrasound (normal), CT scan (normal). Noone can figure out what is going on. She is frustrated and so am I.
My sons girlfriend has been admitted to hospital in the early hours of this morning with abdominal pains and sickness, They are testing for both appendicitis and ovarian cysts She is only 18 and I thought it was over 40 that cysts occured. I am looking to reassure a very frightened girl.
You might have a urinary tract infection Or an Ovarian Cyst and maybe Appendicitis it could be a number of things But to make sure you have to go to the gynecologist and if you dont have one the hospital, It could be Anything but to get the Right diagnosis and proper treatment you have to get checked out
My son rarely drank, but when he did he would sometimes end up in the hospital. He no longer drinks at all and it has helped. There are medications that can also help.
Please let us know how you are doing in any case. As I said before, this may not be the case with you. Your pain and nausea could be symptoms of many different problems. It could even be an ulcer, but in any case, I would recommend that you seek help from a doctor who specialize's in stomach problems.
This morning I woke up with a pain in my lower right abdomen. Its a constant dull pain, about a 4 or 5 on the 1-10 scale. The main pain is about directly 2-3inches to the left of my ASIS. It feels a little bit better when I'm sitting up instead of laying down. I have been going to the bathroom alot more than normal, but the stool is pretty normal, not diarhea.
White count was high and X-ray showed probable appendicitis. Admitted to hospital and CT was done. No appendicitis but a 6mm Appendicolith was found and referral to general surgery next week.
My 6 yr old son was recently in the hospital about 2 weeks for a ruptured appendix.
when he first had the symptoms was a day before i took him to the er he woke up with severe vomiting and stomach pain, his pcp diagnosed him with a stomach flu, i took him home and tried my best to make him keep liquids down and and keep him hydrated. the next morning he woke up with severe lower right abdominal pain and fever.
I had the same problem went to the hospital and it ended up being a ruptured cyst. Hope all is well.
Last week I suffered from appendicitis and my doctor cured me by administering antibiotics. Now have a relief the inflamation is gone. But from today morning I am suffering pain in the groin area which is similar to the pain I suffered for appendicitis
I wanted to know that is the pain caused by Fungal infection or medicinal reaction which was provided for appendicitis.
I have not experienced similar pain in groin area before and there is no blister or rashes.
Blood work checked- Mono and crp slightly evalated ( not enough for them to say appendicitis). they gave a popsicle to him that caused him to have increased painin RLQ. They were still concerned with the pain in right lower quad so a CT was done-results apendix stone. the surgent wasn,t concerned about that and sent home after 2 days in hospital with normal activity .
Lower right abdominal pain along with a tight, bloated abdomen is a symptom of appendicitis. Please go see your doctor as soon as possible!
I am a 28 year old female with chronic dull aching pain in LRQ for about a week now. Was admitted to hospital on Mon released on Tuesday to rule out appendicitis...While there my WBC was high 12,500 but went back down to normal next day...Pain iS alot better but still there along with nausea and low grade fever 99.6 at highest. They said I didn't have appendicitis but I have convinced myself otherwise. I am so nervous that it's gonna rupture and I'm gonna die.
They started near my belly button then moved around my stomach. While at the hospital I had a blood test, and an ultrasound done to check for appendicitis. And everything came back normal. For the last five days I have been having pains in my back, kidneys, right side, right side abdominal pain, pain near my belly button, pelvic pain, pain right next to my hip bone, headaches, and nausea.
I have all if the appendicitis symptoms ( bloating, diarrhea, constipation, severe abdominal pain followed by vomiting) but aren't these all pregnancy things to? I'm 41/2 weeks.
The pain first started at my appendix area. I had all the symptoms of appendicitis. I went to emergency and they ruled out appendicitis.
I had Constipation, gastroenteritis and IBS. Now, the gastroenteritis is gone, but the rest isn't.
I still have the same symptoms from the beginning.
My appendix area feels bloated. It now hurts so bad, I have difficulty and pain standing, walking or even sitting. When pressed on the appendix area, it still feels pain.
Secondly, it can be due to hiatus hernia (occurs when the upper part of your stomach protrudes into your chest cavity through a weakness in the hiatus (opening) in your diaphragm.)Treatment is antacids and prilosec.Also eat smaller meals, especially at night. Don't lie down right after you eat. Use 2 or 3 pillows, or a foam wedge, or raise the head of your bed to prevent discomfort..
Thirdly it can be gall stones or pancreatitis.
I'm scared out of my mind that I have appendicitis but also I don't know whether it could be something psychological or a muscle pull. It's in my abdominal area, kind of lower but sometimes goes up and on the right hand side.
I've been passing gas a bit which relieves me a bit but the achy pain is still there.
