I went to the ER and was told that i had a ruptured ovarian cyst that was bleeding, and that i also had a large amount of fluid and blood in my ovary and that I have another cyst. I am supposed to be meting with my gynecologist here in a few days to figure out what needs to be done, but my mom thinks that they are going to want to do surgery on me.
Hi all, I should be starting my menstrual today or tomorrow. I am on birth control and while I had missed my pill once or twice I always took it the next day like suppose to. My issue is I am severe sharp pain on my right side. My pills show I should have started Wensday, but I knows body I start 3 days later typically. So, while I am not worried about pregnancy I am tired of this pain. It has been there all day. Could it still be cyst on my ovaries, even with birth control.

And what I think you have, appendicitis, while you say you should be dead by now, you are not, but you COULD be in, say, another week's time! A burst appendix will put you in an ambulance and you'll have to go to the hospital anyway.
Please, do one of the choices I have suggested.

It feels like menstrual cramps. I slept like around midnight, and since then I have been waking up a few times with the pain still there. My right leg started hurting but the pain is not that severe, and my right lower back is also in pain. I woke up at 7 a.m this morning and the pain is still there. I do not feel like vomiting or nauseous, and neither have I lost my appetite. I have been with this pain for about 10 hours now, would I happen to be presenting signs of appendicitis?
I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was a teenager and thought I had appendicitis due to the overwhelming pain. I successfully had to children without complications. At 36 I began what I thought was a normal mensrual cycle that lasted 2-3 weeks with excessive blood loss and large clotting. After a vistit to the ER and a follow up visit I was admitted to the hospital for a blood transfusion due to the fact I had lost so much blood I was told I would have bled out in a few days.

I am 22, and i am confused about my period. The last one came on the 6th september and till now i haven't seen the next one, and its the 12th of october already and it still hasn't come. Although i had protected sex on the 18th september and another protected one on the 1st october and another on the 4th october, but unprotected.
During these periods, i had an ulcer crisis and i was on lansoprazole and amoxillin, tagamet, pcm for about 8 days.

Maybe speak to your doctor and have them do an exam. A number of things can cause this - cysts, PCOS etc so best to get it checked out.

I went about 6 months without a cycle but now am in the 5th week of a menstrual cycle. I am TIRED of it and ready for it to end but no end in sight!!! Anything I can do or just tough it out knowing the end is near?? I am taking vitamins and trying to eat right but not really exercising, just don't really feel like it.
Okay...so I was diagnosed with anemia in November, and my doctor put me on Feosol(ferrous sulfate) in December. I haven't gotten a menstrual cycle since probably 2 weeks before Christmas. Does the feosol or sulfate supplement counteract cycles and cause them to stop?

Femitrone and morning after pill when taken together can cause withdrawal bleeding and irregular menstrual cycle and it should not interfere with the working of the emergency contraceptive pill. However keep a check on your periods. If you miss them then do a urine for pregnancy test after 1 week of your menstrual cycle.

I'm in the process of receiving AI. My mentrual cycle is 28 days, however after my first AI Procedure I've had a second cycle in the same month! (Full blown bleeding). Going forward, which cycle do I now calculate from, the first one, or this second one? And it obviously now means, I've lost the "egg" and didn't "take"...? Is it necessary to still do a pregnancy test?
