My daughter is suffering from eczema from the time she was 2 months old. Her Ped prescribed antihistamine for itching. We are concerned about the side effects.
She does not have any immune system related issues.
Her itching increases during the night time and it has been severe since the past 2-3 weeks. Only now we started giving her antihistamine and are concerned about the side effects.
Is there any other way to stop her itching.
i was prescribed duofilm and dicaris. marks did nt go n itching started all over my body gradually n eventually marks went red. then i was prescribed berocin , momate and emodel lotion by other doctor. i still have itching. i took allegra but, itching is not going. what is this and what should i do for it.
I recently started using a new body wash, and after a couple of days 4-5 uses, I started to develop a rash all over my body which is accompanied by extreme itching. I've since stopped using the body wash and switched back to soap. I've also started using benadryll to relieve the itching. It's been a few days but the rash hasn't started to go away yet. How long does it usually take for the skin to clear up, and are there any other treatments for it?
You might be right,I have a renal failure for the past 10 years but I seem to suffer more from my itching than the kidneys.I have scars all over my body. I tchy inside the palms, inside my feet toes my back beleive me I scrach until I bleed and that wont stop me from itching even if i bleed I will still be scratching.
Freezing water is all that helped me or rubbing ice on myself to freeze the part of my body that was itching lol! Piriton helps sometimes..

If your body feels hot as well as having the terrible itching, your body is definitely fighting a foreign body. This could be a bacterial infection, the things that mkh9 mentioned and also you have scabies.
It could be that your body is having an allergic to the hot dogs and hat was on them when you had them.
It may be a good idea to see your doctor in case it is a bacterial infection. The doctor will also be able to confirm if you have scabies.
and about 2 years ago i started getting this dry areas on my body to the point where i have a lot covered now. but for some reason its only from my belly up.
when i take showers i can not rub the dry skin parts hard because after the shower it would itch like crazy. so i just use soap over it but no cloths to rub it.
i have not checked with a dermatologist, but i wanted to get an opinion since i got access to websites all day.

7 nights ago I woke up itching my legs really bad. The next day my whole body started severely itching including my head. After 4 days I started to get bumps all over my body(mostly on legs and arms). The worst is my fingers, but some of these bumps look more like blisters. Some of them broke open but nothing comes out. I have tries benedryl, cortozone 10 liquid, hydrocortozone cream, chlor trimeton, aveeno oatmeal bath.
