Ya I agree with wannabefree330 I am on Vistaril for sleep I didnt want to take Ambien again so my doctor put me on it to help me sleep, he said in was just an antihistamine until a few clean months pass and I can sleep on my own again! yay! looking forward to that.
Truthfully, I do not what drugs I can take since I can have either no reaction, hives or swelling. Has anyone else had a problem like this? Any suggestions on how to deal with my allergies? I have many allergies but things have been fairly bearable until pollen season. Thanks.

She said that they often have their patients take an antihistamine such as Claritin with their injections to lessen the sypmptoms (both flu-like and injection site.) The itching and/or rash that we have is a drug reaction. We are still on the drugs (for as long as we have to treat). We do not have a bug bite or a contact allergy or poison ivy. We are reacting to the drugs that we have to keep taking. Therefore, we need a strong enough antihistamine and we need it often enough to keep the itching controlled and/or the rash from recurring.
Hydroxyzine is a stronger medication and it works much better in situations like ours.
