Avatar f tn I was told it was pupps and was given a prescription for an antihistamine and some cream. The cream burns when I apply it and the antihistamine I am uncomfortable taking as it says not to take the in the 3rd trimester on the information. But without it I get so itchy what do I do?
Avatar n tn How long can i use antihistamine for my daughter aged 7 months to relieve her of the eczema itching.
666921 tn?1254990618 I personally don't take antihistamine but just some advice I read that - antihistamine suppresses the immune system - never thought about it before - they work like steroids - some very good advice on another forum was - do not take antihistamine if you have lyme I am sure some of you already knew this but just thought I would mention it
Avatar f tn Look out for sales. Like Target is doing a buy 2 boxes of diapers, get a $25 gift card. If something isn't on a good sale, don't buy it and stash the money away for later when you actually need the item or for a good sale. Check out the clearance racks in stores for clothes and towels too! What I do, is find something on clearance or sale and check the price against what it is on Amazon, then decide if it's worth it or not.
Avatar n tn First you need to stay on antihistamine until it is gone. Benadryl is great stuff. You should see a GP or allergist doctor. You definitely had a reaction to that sting and are still having it. Sounds like the ER ruled out anaphylaxis but you did have Benadryl in you so that I'm not sure about the results. Just stay on antihistamine on schedule to prevent something worst.
Avatar f tn McDonald's hamburgers (just the sale ones you get in happy meals) with extra pickles!
Avatar m tn You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps. For mild-moderate symptoms a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone as dermacort), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide). But they are available under prescription and should be taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
8377023 tn?1399509160 Oshkosh and Carter's are having a $3.99 sale. My mom just told me.
Avatar m tn For the rashes, I was prescribed antihistamine (loratidine) and betamethasone cream(cortisteroids). I used the cream for 2 days and then stopped using but continued with taking the antihistamine. At 92 days post exposure, I again got tested for Hiv with Axsym hiv 1 and 2 ag/ab combo assay and it came out negative. My questions are: 1) Should i depend on all the tests that carried out.
Avatar f tn I believe it started maybe 6 months ago. It was a tiny cluster of 4 or 5 blister looking spots little bigger than a pen tip. Thought it was from work and elastic gloves grinding in my wrist. Shortly after it grew to red and about 1" down and covered left to right. It then moved to both wrists. After maybe a month of trying to not agrivate it at work it started to go away. Then it blew up covering both my inner forearms. With either small red spots or raise red blotches all over.
7552339 tn?1391962184 Have you ever had the chicken pox? Use a antihistamine to help with the itching.
Avatar m tn For the itch take an antihistamine to break the itch/scratch cycle. On the anus itself used a mild steroid cream like Hydrocortisone 0.5% When showering be very sparing with your use of soap down there. Congratulations on getting fit and losing weight.
Avatar m tn But there is plenty of scar meds for sale over the counter. Have you tried vitamin E cream or oil? Are you also taking vitamin E?

Avatar m tn Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions and see if it helps. You could take some oral antihistamine medications like cetrizine or loratadine. You need to maintain a good personal hygiene . Anti-itch drugs, often antihistamine, may reduce the itch during a flare up of eczema, and the reduced scratching in turn reduces damage and irritation to the skin. It would be advisable to consult a skin specialist for your symptoms and a proper clinical examination.
Avatar f tn What you are doing is extremely unwise. The medication you are using is not allowed for OTC sale in the US. One ingredient of it, Acetaminophen is toxic to liver if taken in large quantities, which is exactly what you are doing. You are also overdosing on an antihistamine Doxylamine , which can cause bladder retention and memory loss among other things.

Avatar f tn Here's one for the books. My daughter has had a allergic reaction to an oral antihistamine she took for what appeared to be hives just below the right side of her derriere. This little bout of hives were taking their time going away and so she thought by taking the antihistamine it would help the process.
4461129 tn?1354930630 Try using a cortizone cream on it, too. Are you sure you didn't wear a new necklace or perhaps a blouse/shirt that has nylon thread that irritated your skin? Could be a bug bite - Try some vinegar on it and do take an antihistimine just in case.
Avatar f tn I went to the doctor for my hands and he gave me high powered topical cream and it was after using it for a couple days that the condition appeared on my feet. I cannot take any antihistamine or steroids orally because I am nursing and now have been using steroid cream for over 2 months. The condition will improve with the creams but still won't go away completely. Is there anything else I can try?
Avatar n tn ve never seen anything like it.. Put me on anti biotic, cream , painkillers and antihistamine tablets... anyone any idea what this is?
Avatar f tn I have exactly the same as everyone for over 10 years. It usually starts end of August or September and last until February. I tried everything but to no avail. The doctor gave me Gabapentin and I take one 2 hours before going to bed, it seems to help. Sometimes the episodes last for hours of itching. I constantly try to figure out what cause this horrible thing. Today I am thinking could it be caused by the flu shot? Because it's a seasonal thing.
