I always have a bad reaction to insect bites or stings with really bad swelling. Normally necessitates application of loads of antihistamine cream, taking maximum dose Piriton tablets for days, then a course of strong antibiotics. If I'm in a situation where I know there is the risk of being bitten, is there any advantage in taking Piriton tablets in advance - along with using insect repellent?

ve never seen anything like it.. Put me on anti biotic, cream , painkillers and antihistamine tablets... anyone any idea what this is?

It would help to continue with the steroid medications as presctibed and also take some oral antihistamine medications and see if it helps with your symptoms. Let us know about how you are doing and also if you have any other doubts. Regards.

I have what I found on the net a condition know n as Formication which is a crawling snesation under the skin which is very itchy. I have tried antihistamine tablets, creams, and product I can bath in. I am slowly going mad and I cna't stop itching. Does anyone have any remiedies for this before I go off my head?

Your may take antihistamine (like Benadryl tablets) . It is an allergic reaction. If there is no change you may talk to your parents.

I had prior to the vet visit above been given Wilson one half Benedryl 25 mg Antihistamine morning and evening, in the hope it would clear up the paw problem. A couple weeks of this did not produce any improvement. I then checked and saw recommendations to use 1 - 2 mg per pound. As Wilson is j20+ pounds my does level was low. I have decided to continue giving him Benadryl but now one 25 mg capsule morning and night. Hope it keeps his paws and general itch problems under control.

Take tylonal cold/flu and vitamin c, and drink Orange juice and get as much sleep as you can. That's what my doctor said bc im 38 weeks and had a cold for a week. I don't know if robitussun is to good for you while your pregnant.

it seems to occur more since the increase in addition to other symptoms, all of my levels are in range except the Free T3 is at the bottom of the range, I have tried different lotions and they only help a little, What I found works best for me is the 25 Mg Benadryl Allergy tablets, during the day I break one in half and it helps for about 7 hours, at night I will take a whole tab, they are antihistamines so they may make you a little drowsy at first.

I take massive amounts of antihistamines (2 24-hour Zyrtec tablets and 2 Benadryl tablets) and they help sometimes but its always short term and the itching resumes even worse than before. Hi! I'm 26 years old and currently suffering from itchy, red bumps that eventually develop into rashes. Most of these rashes are in my panty area, but I noticed a few just beneath my armpits, abdomen, neck and back, too. My dermatologist has given me corticosoid creams (pardon the spelling if it's incorrect) and Betneton tablets, but I don't seem to respond to them at all. I found rubbing some coconut oil on them quite soothing, though.

The doctor had prescribed Flucanazole tablets and Zole-F cream. It took 3 weeks to heal. But, the infection did not seem to cure 100%. My scrotum often goes dry and white and becomes itchy. When the scrotum skin is stretched, I observed a kind of drought area like texture with small dark patches in irregular shapes. Applying coconut oil provides temporary relief.
