herpes won't just cause itching. you were on antibiotics, it is probably just jock itch and you can treat that with otc products. if you think it's more than jock itch, be seen again for a work up.
other then the sensation and jock itch there has never been any legions or painfull sores although i now notice small red dots that when squeezed have solid pimple like material from them. I have been tested several times for uti - chlamydia - ghonaria and all have been negative. correct, the cream you were given did have a steroid in it which is often too irritating for some folks sensitive genital skin.
at this point after antibiotics, you might even have a yeast infection issue causing you irritation. why not try an otc jock itch treatment cream for a week or so and see how that works?

I have check with the local std clinic and they do not treat for jock itch, do not test for herpies. I dont think i have an std tho. If i do i have had it for 13 years unless its some type of Staff infection my my wife having the baby. She did split badley!

In all your description, you have not mentioned a word about 'Itch', a characteristic symptom of Jock itch and you seem to have more of pain and irritated skin. Jock itch gives an intense pleasurable itch with small pimples/rashes, quickly spreading to near by areas and not localised.Your case more looks like a local skin inflammation / infection , so that you may most likely need an antibacterial, anti inflammatory cream.

Wash your groin daily and then dry thoroughly by pat drying, not rubbing. A hairdryer is useful if you have hairy groins. The damp groin is an ideal site for fungi to multiply.
So ive used both Lotrimins and Lamisils jock itch creams since then and the red spots have faded and my scrotum no longer itches however my scrotum is still a fiery red color and has lost its elasticity. My scrotum also has two darkened dry spots on it now and im worried about what to do next. I no longer have health insurance and am unable to go see a doctor. So my question is what can i do to reduce the redness and get the elasticity back in my scrotum. or better yet what exactly do i have?
