Loss of appetite (Anorexia) can be of natural disinterest in eating (primary anorexia), or is due to some reversible cause (secondary anorexia) like Chronic liver disease , Emotional upset, nervousness, loneliness, boredom, tension, anxiety, loss, and depression, Hypothyroidism ,Infections etc.So for now Increase protein and calorie intake by eating high-calorie, nutritious snacks or several small meals during the day. Liquid protein drinks may be helpful.
She was taken to the emergency room yesterday morning and has been admitted into Intensive care. She has liver failure. She is yellow (yellow skin and eyes). She has swollen legs and stomach. I am anorexic and I weigh 40 kegs and I’m concerned I have heart failure - I have been having shortness of breath when lying down and things like that. Our 39 year old daughter is in the hospital with liver failure--cirrhosis, fatty liver, and sludge in her spleen. She was admitted on 6/10/13. For the first five days she was incoherent, then gradually she began to be able to communicate. She still, eight days later, isn't sure what year it is or which hospital she is in. She's been told her condition is grave, but we are not certain she understands. They are trying to bring her liver function up to 10% of normal operability.

Butin your case if we suspect a liver failure it might be necessary. Note that some drug are available in patch you can stick on your body, this way you avoid liver damage and you could get the benefit of a drug to reduce the withdrawal symptoms. Since you do want to stop it cold turkey since in some case in can lead to suicide and some effects are really bad.

A girl in past died within a year after hepatitis b exposure due to liver failure. Only symptoms she used to say unknowingly was itching in her skin (which earlier she never had). Later she developed advanced features of liver failure.
