Hello I was anorexia for about and year and a half and I started to eat regular meals for about 7 month already but I been getting acid reflux a lot or gastritis symptoms I went to the doctor and they gave me omeprazole took it for 3 weeks it kind a did help but know I still have symptoms. Does anyone know when will it go away the symptoms or is it because I damaged my digestion system please answer back.
Did they discuss the possibility of food allergy gastritis? Did they mention giving your dog a medication called Celexa or Reglan, (or other medication that are anti-nausea and vomiting) medications? Although the pepcid did help your dog keep down his food he may still be a bit nauseaous and this could be the reason for the decreased appetite.
It is fine not to give your dog rice. There is a dietary trend in veterinary medicine these days, to eliminate grains from dogs and cats diets.
To get to the point, I've had an eating disorder for a few years, since I was almost 11, and now I'm 15. It's varied from anorexia to bulimia, but these past few years its centered around binging and purging. For the past few months, I've found blood in my vomit. Its a dark brown and it resembles coffee grounds. I've also been having sharp pains in my abdominal and chest, which usually don't last long at all. Lately, though, the chest pains have been lingering.

Did you ever heal form your Gastritis? I can't take Nexium or Zantac or anything like that because it causes me bad reactions. How did you heal?
Hi. I am a 35yr old mother with many medical issues including but not limited to cardiac, endocrine, autoimmune, etc. In the last 6 months I have had no appetite and get very full, disgusted, or nauseous after only a few bites of food. I have lost about 40lbs. In that time I have had episodes of oily orange spots in the toilet water and leakage a few times, enough to concern me but not large amounts. I have also had a few episodes of dark red meaty bloody looking stuff inside the stool itself.

Nutritional neuropathy is common in people who are anorexic.Nutritional deficiencies causes nerve symptoms,tingling and burning. You should consult a neurologist and go for a evaluation and get the diagnosis confirmed.
I don't see why you wouldn't able to get pregnant with gastritis....Although many of the causes are related to infection (bacterial and/or fungal)...Of course there are other causes as well which I'm sure you already know if you have it.....So I would say that if you know the source of your condition and it's not infection related, pregnancy would not be an issue.....of course if it is infection reltated, this can cause harm to the fetus.
I took this for several months and took 24 pills of it for gastritis like symptoms. I also have mental health issues. Its not helping reading zantac can cause all of these cancers colon, kidney, bladder, lung, liver etc etc etc.... So anyone who took this medication gets tested for all these cancers how? This is ridiculous!
How do you know that Anorexia causes pain all over the body? I mean i'm sure it does, but this is aout my brother. He is 15 years old and he has been struggling with this eating disorder for a few months now, probably 6 or so. I also have struggled with this disorder myself, but I'm over it now. I just dont' know what to do about him, because he has like, no muscle mass left on him!

Yes you can have stomach pain along with many other symptoms. Anorexia and Anorexia Nervosa are actually two different things.. Anorexia is simply not eating, it doesn't necessarily mean you don't WANT to eat, just a lack of eating for whatever reason. Anorexia Nervosa (what people are usually talking about when they use the term Anorexia) is when you don't eat because you think you are fat, or you have a strong fear of gaining weight.
So I had an endoscopy done and it showed mild gastritis and 2 cystic polyps. Biopsies were done and the results were mild irritation (mild chronic Gastritis) and -a liberal translation- It is observed a picture of bottom glandular polyp of body of stomach..please excuse as English is not my native language. Is this worrisome??
I had my upper endoscopy in 2010, April, because of my upper stomach pain. Dr. found I had mild gastritis I was breastfeeding, so I waited till 2011, around July to treat my gastritis. Dr. told me to take Prilosec, which I did for 1 month. Somehow, my short of breath seems to be related to stomach discomfort, although I was diagnosed with asthma in 2009 when I consulted my breathing difficulty.
I am sorry English is not my first language, so I can't really express everything I should.
