The risk is in not opening the artery as the potential exists for heart muscle damage due to ischemia (lack of oxygen which is carried by the blood cells). The larger the artery, the higher the potential for damage, especially in light of the recent onset of angina. Follow the Doctor's recommendations.
I'm sure the cost varies from one area to another, but we would have no way of knowing what the cost of this or any other medication would be for people in different locations.
You would need to check the price with whoever would be dispensing that medication to you (pharmacist? clinic? doctor).

I got one implanted in Delhi at Escorts Hospital in 2008. A single lead ICD, Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator capable of pacing and defibrillator (I am not sure if a pacemaker has only one function i.e. pacing) cost me approx Rs 450000 (USD 10000) including surgery. More complicated ones could cost double. In India you can negotiate the cost with representatives of different ICD brands and get a good deal. There are many models of ICDs with different battery life.
The cost of a radio frequency ablation in the United States can run from around $2,000in facilities that only specialise in this procedure to around $3,000 elswhere. It is my understanding that medical procedures in India can be as much as 70% less than the same treatment in the US which would make this procedure the equivalent of between $140 and $210 in India if what I have read is true.

Would the existing inflammation cause further deterioration in vision? Because in private practice in India, you never know if these recommended costly procedures are really necessary, I would greatly appreciate your invaluable advice, whether we should go ahead with the treatment.

I think for artery condition, IVUS is probably the best. It's Intravascular Ultrasound. It gives a 360-degree view of the arterial wall from the inside, allowing a more complete and accurate assessment than is possible with standard angiography. It enables the cardiologist to determine the composition of the blockage, aiding with risk calculations. Armed with added FFR, the difference in blood flow/pressure across the blockage can be seen.
He was undergone a Treadmill test, a few weeks ago and the Doctor observed borderline positive Treadmill Test and suggested an Angiography. He undergone Angiogram a couple of days ago and the report said that the Right Coronary Artery is 100% blocked. According to the Cardiologist, who performed Angiography, the blockage is old. But, my father has no pain (Angina), no fatigue and other common symptoms of Coronary Artery Disease. He’s perfectly alright.
Thank you Dr Hagan! I'm currently based in India and these test aren't that expensive. MfERG is not expensive here. Their suggestion is not from a resource perspective. One of the reasons provided to me was that if there is any abnormality in MfERG it would only add to the stress while there isn't a normative database to check the condition against which will be suitable to check in my case.

On the basis of this cardiologist advised to get CT coronary angiography. The result of the CT coronary angiography as given below:
1.Eccentric calcific in the RCA and distal LAD causing mild (20-30%) luminal narrowing.
2. No evidence of hypo perfusion or perfusion defects in the resting first pass myocardial enhancement.
Now our cardiologists has advised to get catheter angiography to rule out further.
Please advise me what should me my course of action.
