for some reason that same hand is tender over the top of my hand, where they put in the Angiogram camera tubing. I have had a groin Angiogram about 7 years ago. Even though I had this wrist discomfort, I would seriously ONLY ever recommend the wrist Angiogram, should you be reading my experience here.

Its been very painful and is still a little swollen. Today the bruise is almost to to my elbow, now aching and my hand has began tingling.

I have had a chest pain 2 months and went and admitted in the hospita under observation and they have taken all the tests related to heart(ECG,Thread Mill,Blood tests,ultra sound and angiogram).After checking all these tests doctors told every thing is normal and you dont need to worry.But in angiogram it is showing 30% blockage.

Had an angiogram in 2009 showed 50%blockage. Had a stress test 2 weeks ago suggesting an 80% blockage. The angiogram was completely clear 2 days ago. Have lost over 100 lbs. between the 2 tests. Could that cause the first blockage to disappear and show the stress test unreliable?
Could undiagnosed thyroid disease be an unerlying problem since ekgs are abnormal?
The tests indicated a blockage. I am now waiting for an angiogram. They put me on drugs after the test. I am on 1.25mg Monocor, 5mg Norvasc, 10mg Crestor as well as ASA 81mg - one per day. Now I wait for Angiogram. I am quite freaked out. So I am scheduled for an angiogram on Feb 5th. They tell me there are risks in this test. The risk is 1 in 1000 people die, stroke or have a heart attack during this proceedure. My question is this, Should I get a 64-slice Coronary CT Angiograph​y?
The results will usually be backed up with an angiogram. If the angiogram shows restricted vessels in that area, then the nuclear scan is confirmed and your heart muscle really needs intervention to be done. Was your ischemia present with your heart at rest during the scan or under stress? or both?
If at stress only, then medication will usually be the first intervention, but if the ischemia is at rest, then probably a stent or bypass will be suggested.

Chest pain and anxiety attacks go hand in hand for nearly all of us...........but chest pain that does not go away soon after the anxiety attack should be evaluated by a doctor.
I would say it's NOT normal and you really need to see your doctor to rule out an organic reason for the continuing pain.

I have just been scheduled for an angiogram and I'm scared to no end I have a 3 year old son I love to death same as my soon to be wife. I'm so scared something will go wrong during the surgery how coming are complications? Also my ej is 73 is this bad?
You better check with your doctors, I am not sure about the potential damage due to the radiation dose that you will take during the procedure.
Also if they discover blockages in your coronaries, I do not know about the risk of the medication that you will need.
After a cardigraph treadmill test I'm being referred for angiogram - I'm going on holiday in two weeks with a 3 hour flight. Should I travel?
My partner is having an angiogram after suffering chest pains a few weeks ago. NAD was found at the time from blood tests and ECG (done over 18 hours). Was kept in overnight. Had no discomfort since, but suffers from type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol which are all controlled and low due to medication.
His chest pains were 4 weeks ago and he's had nothing since.
my mother is suffering from chest pain now Doctor is saying to go for angiogram test?
Has anyone had an angiogram with the catheter inserted in arm or neck instead of the groin? I don't think I could take the groin without serious nerve spasms.
hey my dad is suppose to go in for an angiogram but he fears what might happen to him if he does. i was wondering if there was possible any alternative procedure or something else he could possibly do.
how do i intepret an angiogram result? to know which is left or right? how to know if there is a block?
