My doctor said I could take Sucrets or other lozenges, anything Tylenol brand, Zyrtec, etc.... I was surprised by the list. I ended up needing an antibiotic to kick the sinus infection (amoxicillin). Call you doctor up and talk to the nurse. She will give you the thumbs up if you are feeling nervous on anything.
I have had a sinus infection and bad cold for over a month now....it's the worst feeling ever. My Dr prescribed me amoxicillin for the infection but it didn't fully take care of the symptoms, it is safe to take though! Also on my list of safe meds are sudafed, Claritin and zyrtec. Hopefully one of those will help you ladies out!
Thank you all :) Tried taking Mucinex and Tylenol for the sinus pressure and it's definitely not working. Called my GP for an appt so we'll see. Thanks again for your help!
3rd dr after looking at my throat said I did not have oral thrush I have tried to scrape these patches off but they are adhered firmly to my mouth. The week before I had oral sex I had been to the dentist and was feeling bad so took amoxicillin then got to filling better and quit taking it. Also I started using a mouth wash which I have never used before. Now I am on sudafed, Zyrtec nasal spray and since I told my dr I had tested positive for yeast I'm on fluconazole for 14 days.
have had at the beginning of october alot congestion nose and throat and ear congestion cough and mucus that would not come out the doctor said it was allergies so he told me to take zyrtec and flonose nasal spray and prescribed me amoxicillin 250mg 3 x a day for 15 days and took allegraD and it help a lil only till it wore off so im still not feeling better and am desperate to be better i have a two yr old. .i even tried the nasal irrigation and not better..
After 3 days of Amoxicillin I was emitted to hospital because of an unexpected reaction where my throat got extremely tight and my mouth dried up like the Sahara.
Following this the hospital put me on Zyrtec and Prednisolone for a week.
Shortly thereafter I went back to the doctor complaining about shortness of breath and a white tongue. I was told my tongue is most likely caused by the antibiotics and steroids.
He did a chest x-ray and said that it was all normal. He then said I had strep throat and gave me AMOXICILLIN (antibiotic) and sent me away. The antibiotics helped a little bit but as soon as it got over my symptoms came back.
So then I went to the hospital ER when it got REALLY BAD...and the hospital did another chest xray, neck xray and an EKG. Everything came back normal. So they said I had air reactive disease and gave me zyrtec-D and sent me away.
has zyrtec been banned,i cant find it anywhere,if it has been banned then wot was the reason?
the rash was not very intense but the itching was uncontrollable. I was told to try an allergy med like benadryl or zyrtec and that worked.. but its now been 6 months and i still have the itchiness. if i don't take a pill in the morning it becomes unbearable. Also i have noticed that i seem to be more gases than i have ever been in the past. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this? and what might make it better?
The drugs were Amoxicillin; Clotrimozole; Fluconazole; Prednizone and Citrizine (Zyrtec). The doctor prescribed the folloiwng and they seem to be helping but the swelling is slowly going down.
So yesterday I went to the Dr for an ear infection and the Dr said it was pretty bad. He prescribed me amoxicillin 500mg 3 times a day for 10 days. He said it was safe but I am scared. I have called and left a message for my drs assistant. Waiting for a call back. Have any of you had to take this in this dossage?
can amoxicillin make you have pink bits in your sick due to the capsules being red
will amoxicillin harm my baby? I've got a water infection and the doctor prescribed me them. Also, if I take them does it cause thrush? I'm curious.
I'm taking amoxicillin and my cheeks are very red, like i'm sunburnt, and very hot. It's only on my cheeks no where else on my face or body. I've been givien this same medicine many times and have never had this reaction, The only other thing I can think about is I was given a corticosteroid shot and nasal spray called Fluticasone. It's not shown as a side effect of the nasal spray, but could it be from one of these other medicines. Should I call my pharmacist or doctor?
can you take amoxicillin if it exspired in january of 2009, i dont have insurance and had a few left over from my teeth and need to take them if i can. could someone please help me with this?
I just got done with a prescription for 875 mg of amoxicillin twice a day for 10 days. Will that cure chlamydia and gonorrhea??
I was prescribed Amoxicillin a couple days ago for strep throat and an ear infection and when I opened the bottle to take it I noticed that it smelled bad. I don't know if it's normal or not so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
