So yesterday I went to the Dr for an ear infection and the Dr said it was pretty bad. He prescribed me amoxicillin 500mg 3 times a day for 10 days. He said it was safe but I am scared. I have called and left a message for my drs assistant. Waiting for a call back. Have any of you had to take this in this dossage?

t wait around for ever before I had to have sex with my wife, On Thurday, I started taking doxycycline 100 mg 12 hours apart and amoxicillin 500 mg 3 times per day. On Monday, I was tested again and everything was negative. I never stopped taking the doxy and amoxy and I was planning on continuing to complete 7 days on these antibiotics. I have had episodes of tachycardia, of unknown cause, for the past ten years or so. I am now down with an infection which produces much phlegm. I am taking amoxicillin 500 mg for it. I also have started taking honey for it's infection fighting qualities. However, my tachycardia episodes have got worse. Any suggestions as to the cause? Could it be the honey or the antibiotic? I was tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia with a swab test in December, and it came back negative. I then had unprotected sex with a steady boyfriend. A few months later, I had 9500 mg of amoxicillin for an unrelated infection. I was worried about a false negative for the previous test, so I had a urine test done a week after the antibiotics were finished. This was also negative. I did not have any sex with my boyfriend between the antibiotics and the test.
