So I caught a bacteria on my throat last month and was prescribed with Amoxicillin. It got rid of the infection, but then right after my tonsils from inside my throat was swollen and was taking Prednisone. It went away. I felt better and now I have it again. A bacteria on my tonsils and I found out I am getting it from my filthy fan. This time the doctor gave me Clindamycin.
hello, I think this is in the right area. I am a 20 year old male slightly overweight who excersises about once a week. I don't get the right amount of sleep I should get (around 4 hours a night mostly). Today I went to wal mart and decided to sit down in the blood pressure gauge thing just to see what it said. the Numbers were 128 over 112. Is this good or bad? I don't really understand the difference.

By the way green stool in babies is almost normal and it might be because of fast movement of the stool in the bowel that it has no enough time to turn brown. Stools in origin are geen because of the bile secreted in it but in the bowel it turns brown. So it might be because he didnt eat enough the past days but be careful that he has no diarrhea. and if this persist u may contact his doctor.
So yesterday I went to the Dr for an ear infection and the Dr said it was pretty bad. He prescribed me amoxicillin 500mg 3 times a day for 10 days. He said it was safe but I am scared. I have called and left a message for my drs assistant. Waiting for a call back. Have any of you had to take this in this dossage?

I was told by a doctor I might have a chest infection so she put me on 500mg of amoxicillin three times a day. I'm also on diazepam for muscle spasms and anxiety. I cannot remember is she said it was ok go take them both together.
If ok to take together this will put my mind at rest and stop me panicing.

I'm taking amoxicillin and my cheeks are very red, like i'm sunburnt, and very hot. It's only on my cheeks no where else on my face or body. I've been givien this same medicine many times and have never had this reaction, The only other thing I can think about is I was given a corticosteroid shot and nasal spray called Fluticasone. It's not shown as a side effect of the nasal spray, but could it be from one of these other medicines. Should I call my pharmacist or doctor?

It is very doubtful that he would have a reaction after finishing an antibiotic. Amoxicillin does not stay in your system after it is finished like some of the newer antibiotics can.
I would be more inclined to think it is an allergic reaction to something he is exploring. Do you have pets whose dander would not have been on his blanket, but would be on the carpets?
A week ago I had a severe pain on that tooth and I started taking Amoxicillin 500mg as my dentist prescribed in case of infection when he opened it to clean the roots.The next day the part next to my nose got swollen but the pain has gone.After 5 days on Amoxicillin the swell is not visible but I can feel it when I open my mouth. The thing that get me worried is that slight pressure feeling on my cheek and the upper eyelid.
Oh yeah I've felt that. And it is from anxiety. I used to think that I was going crazy but nope, it's the anxiety. It's a strange feeling, I describe it almost dream like, as if I don't belong in setting. As if I'm not living in the real world. weird i know. I find though that there's always a few spots that i feel normal in, so I try to go there, get better and keep on going with my day.
