I would say that you need to call your doctor and tell them thatwhen you take amoxicillin that it makes you have headaches and see what your doctor says.
Drink plenty of fluids, soups, jello. fruit juices. Make sure you drink so you do not get dehydrated. Keep of milk products for the time being.
Take cool showers to cool down. If you are bed ridden, is there someone who can sponge you down with a damp flannel to help bring the fever down?

hpv, sphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia and herpes are the risks from oral sex - none of those are effectively treated with amoxicillin so you are wasting your time and risking your health by doing what you have asked about.

Strep can be resistant. Amoxicillin unless in high doses or mixed with clavulanate acid (making the brand name Augmentin) can be ineffective and the azithromycin add on really sounds like an odd choice to treat strep. Call your doctor and tell them you are not improving. You normally start to feel better within 48 hours on an antibiotic with lessoning of symptoms (always take the full course of the medication though even if you feel better).

There is really no benefit from taking the amoxicillin you have. If you are concerned get a throat culture or nucleic acid amplification test (increasingly used instead of culture) for gonorrhea. No other testing is needed. I hope this comment is helpful.
So I was in ER 3 nights ago for excruciating pain and tons of face swelling after seeing a dentist whom told me I had a tooth abscess..I was prescribed amoxicillin but that along with all the pain meds was not helping and my swelling became worse..so I went to the emergency room. I started experience very bad chills and high fever upon arriving there so luckily I went.
They sent me to a different hospital for oral surgery and the Dr. Made a drain in my gum and inserted a drainage..

If I am understanding your question correctly, I think that you are asking me if it is normal to vomit pink bits when you are taking amoxicillin. The pink could be related to the amoxicillin, or it could be something else that you ate or drank. IF you start vomiting blood or coffee grounds, that would be worrisome. Also, if you continue to vomit and are unable to keep the antibiotic down, then you need to let your doctor know. Good luck.
In January 2010 she came down with a high fever and head ache and never did get over it. She had an elevated ANA and ASO. We finally saw the pediatric rheumatologist April 9th. She said she had an undetermined autoimmune disease and was put on plaquinil. We will see the ped rheum. again in June and do more blood tests. What are my daughter's chances of her immune system going back to normal? Will she always feel arthritic and weak.
