After taking amoxicillin (for dog bite to ear) only took them for 2 days as bad stomach upset and weak feeling/pain in arms & erythromycin about 3 to 4 weeks later for pimples on scalp about 4 to 5 days after the stopping the erythromycin due to bad stomach upset (going to toilet 5 to 6 times a day) my wrists went very red and sore (worse on right hand) dominant hand and also my hands constant flushing/hot/sore (could not even but hands in jean pockets so sore)

I recently started taking medication for a really bad cold I got. The pills were to be taken for 10 days and on the 6th or 7th day, I got little red bumps that itch like crazy on my inner thighs. It started off as 2 then went up to 8 the following day. Each day there seems to be more and more. I have finished the medication 2 days ago and there are even more than before. The little red itchy bumps are now located near my vagina. The bumps vary on side but don't go bigger than my thumb.

Hi! My 11yo has a rash on her bottom that doctors think is a strep infection since august(strep b). We have been on amoxicillin penicillin and azithromyacin with no cure. It doesn't hurt her. She also was complaining of stomach aches since August. She constantly gets canker sores and now has what looks like a cold sore on her lip that isn't healing. Could she be allergic to something? I'm lost as to where to go from here.
I also felt like I had the flue and a sore throat and pink eye. I saw 3 little pimples under my scrotum but they were gone the next day I went to the doctors and he didn't think it was herpes. Which I am sceptical because when I took Amoxicillin it was 1 a day pill for a week and as soon as i took it the bacteria was going away. Now I've taken Clindamycin like 5 times, because it's 1 pill ever 6 hours. There is 28 pills in total. But I don't see the bacteria fading, like the Amoxicillin.
Due to a recent oral sex encounter, I got tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia in the throat. Those swabs were done with the Aptima Combo 2 Assay and came back negative. I took azithromycin and rocephin injection as a precaution (before the swab results came back), and am currently taking Augmentin to get rid of the strep. I was feeling fine and healed until yesterday when my throat started to hurt again.

Would 1 gram, 3x daily (3 grams daily) of Amoxicillin for 10 days kill Chlamydia and Gonnorea?

If you've been on Amoxicillin for more than 3 days and are not starting to feel better go back to the doctor and get a different antibiotic.
I've been taking amoxicillin for chlamydia for 5 days now with no relief. It's still very painfull everytime I urinate.

RUBBISH !!! Amoxicillin is the safest antibiotic for cats who do not have an allergy to penicillin - and very few have. Where are you getting your information???
So yesterday I went to the Dr for an ear infection and the Dr said it was pretty bad. He prescribed me amoxicillin 500mg 3 times a day for 10 days. He said it was safe but I am scared. I have called and left a message for my drs assistant. Waiting for a call back. Have any of you had to take this in this dossage?
