I went to both urgent care and my obgyn where they tested me for STDs and infections. Both tests came back positive for BV and yeast, but nothing else. I was prescribed diflucan and flagyl and although they initially worked, my symptoms came back a week later. I returned to another urgent care in which I was given more diflucan and flagyl and my cultures were taken for an in depth analysis of bacteria. The results showed I had some rare bacteria and I was prescribed amoxicillin.
so maybe two weeks ago i was on amoxicillin finished that and started itching so i was worried i had something, went to get checked they said i had bv and traces of yeast in my discharge so i finished my antibiotics for the bv and just started on saturday night my monistat 3 treatment, im on day two and the stuff that comes out is a yellow greenish discharge. is that normal?
Once that cleared up, I had my wisdom teeth taken out on 6/5/12 and then was on amoxicillin for another 10 days. I cannot really remember if the symptoms began after the surgery or before, but it was very very close in the time frame.

Can 3 tablets of amoxicillin a day for 7 days cure a man of chlamydia or is that not a common antibiotic for men who have chlamydia?
I went to the Dr and tested negative for Strep and they have me some amoxicillin. Which I didn’t take because I don’t like antibiotics and they give me yeast infections. So within a week it cleared up, but then my right tonsil did the same thing swelled up white material cover it. I went to the ER and they checked for strep and mono all came back negative and they gave me a steroid shot to bring down inflammation and pain pills. Then I started to take the amoxicillin.
t went to the doctor yet !! Just using amoxicillin which they say can work for BV too, after taking the pills I have no more itchy, & the bumps are going away gradually. I'm hoping this isn't an std. I'm thinking I was burning & hurting due to me having cuts after using my virginity. But he also didn't go fully in it was very painful, so I told him to stop .
At the beginning of June I plan on getting retested for HSV1 and HSV2 using the IgG test since it will be more than four months since I was possibly exposed to herpes. The thing is that since the date that I last had sex I have had bacterial vaginosis, the Gadernella strain, the entire time. I've taken different medications and it will not go away.
I have only ever taken an Antibiotic for a BV infection, maybe that is something you need to do.
If I were you I would get a full STD screening as well as a yeast and BV culture so that you can be sure.
You dont want to suffer like this any longer treating the wrong thing or not treating it properly.

Which I am sceptical because when I took Amoxicillin it was 1 a day pill for a week and as soon as i took it the bacteria was going away. Now I've taken Clindamycin like 5 times, because it's 1 pill ever 6 hours. There is 28 pills in total. But I don't see the bacteria fading, like the Amoxicillin.
Due to a recent oral sex encounter, I got tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia in the throat. Those swabs were done with the Aptima Combo 2 Assay and came back negative. I took azithromycin and rocephin injection as a precaution (before the swab results came back), and am currently taking Augmentin to get rid of the strep. I was feeling fine and healed until yesterday when my throat started to hurt again.
Ok so Im going on 3 months did my blood test all my blood work was perfect no hiv are anything of that sort urine perfect no stds period but I got a pap smer and my obgyn found that I tested positive for bv witch she explained to me with a smile so I knew it wasn't that bad and gave me lots of medicine but I found out it can cause miscarriage yicks!! Any one elce had this problem if so how long did it take for it to go away?

On one hadn, your symptoms aren't typical for new genital herpes and most likely you don't have it. OTOH, herpes is the most common cause of genital ulceration, and I agree with your disappointment that your doctor didn't test you for it. You should also be tested for syphilis, as noted above.
finally today I got my results back and she said I am positive for BV AND Trich. I’ve been with my boyfriend for 4 years, I got BV the first couple months we started having intercourse (not sure if it was Trich as well) we have a two year old daughter, I’ve been to the doctor numerous times over the past 3 years getting tested for STD/STI, and poked, prodded for other reasons (endo, ovarian cysts) not once out of these 4 years I’ve been with him have I been positive for Trich.
Would 1 gram, 3x daily (3 grams daily) of Amoxicillin for 10 days kill Chlamydia and Gonnorea?
What other conditions might cause a pinching sensation and a slight red discloration at the tip of my penis?
bv only cuts your catches when you have it but it doesnt harm you in anyway (cut your catches of having bv is not using soaps or oils when bathing/showering - you are now more likely to get bv).
