is it safe to take amoxicillin while you areabout 13-14 weeks pregnant and if so what are the risks to your baby while you are takeing it ?
The pain is becoming unbearable now when i urinate which is about 20+ times a day and 2-3 times during the night,after taking a course of Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanic acid) for 7 days the problem persists and have had to make another appointment to see my doctor this coming Monday,I was told i had a kidney infection after doing a urine sample and that the pills should clear it up,but they didnt work for me.

I have been battling cystitis for over a year now. It has come and gone, but since this last flare-up it has not gone away. I feel like I have tried everything, I drink pure cranberry juice, take cranberry pills, have completely changed my diet and no longer eat inflammatory foods at ALL. I am also taking supplements to improve my kidney help. But no matter what I do I still have the chronic urge to pee. Is there anything else I can do!?
years 3 ago I got cystitis and till their i have chronic cystitis wich exacerbations. Sexual intercourse worsens situation. I take antibiotics during the acute phase. Last time i took 3 month course of Monural. periodically i have feeling of urinary bladder fullness. Please give me the choice how to treat my problem, which drug or dietarry supplement should i take to eradicate bacteria finally and prevent their growth in my urinary bladder.

There are multiple types of cystitis. The most common type is acute bacterial cystitis, the common bladder infection wemen get all the time. Patients can get a chronic bacterial cystitis where there is a deep infection in the bladder wall below the surface. Antibiotics in the urine can't easily clear this infection due to it's deep position in the bladder.
So yesterday I went to the Dr for an ear infection and the Dr said it was pretty bad. He prescribed me amoxicillin 500mg 3 times a day for 10 days. He said it was safe but I am scared. I have called and left a message for my drs assistant. Waiting for a call back. Have any of you had to take this in this dossage?

I'm taking amoxicillin and my cheeks are very red, like i'm sunburnt, and very hot. It's only on my cheeks no where else on my face or body. I've been givien this same medicine many times and have never had this reaction, The only other thing I can think about is I was given a corticosteroid shot and nasal spray called Fluticasone. It's not shown as a side effect of the nasal spray, but could it be from one of these other medicines. Should I call my pharmacist or doctor?
can you take amoxicillin if it exspired in january of 2009, i dont have insurance and had a few left over from my teeth and need to take them if i can. could someone please help me with this?

I was told by a doctor I might have a chest infection so she put me on 500mg of amoxicillin three times a day. I'm also on diazepam for muscle spasms and anxiety. I cannot remember is she said it was ok go take them both together.
If ok to take together this will put my mind at rest and stop me panicing.

1month ago decided to have sex without condom- got itchy burning- few days after. Initially thought it was cystitis/thrush- not cleared so went to gp- gave me trymethoprim- not cleared after 1 wk.
No that it is constant, he has diagnosed it first as a pinched nerve and now as possible interstitial cystitis and 2 compounded creams have been tried but burn intensely and do not help the problem or the odor. He says that the mesh is fine. He also mentioned once in passing that the mesh felt a little tight. I am at a loss. Could the mesh have eroded into the urethra? Do I need to seek an opinion from a urologist rather than my urogynecologist ? It it like sitting on a sandspur.
hi i am an 18 year old female who has been suffering with cystitis for a couple of years now. it burns after everytime i pee and very little comes out, i have been to the doctors many times they take a urine sample and just put me on antibiotics. well ive just finished a course of antibiotics and it still burns when i go to the toilet and im just wondering why that is? could there be something else wrong with me?
