You should do this anyway whenever you take an antibiotic to replenish as much as you can of the beneficial organisms that are killed off, and keep taking it for at least a few months following the cessation of your antibiotic regimen.

After a course of amoxicillin for an abscess I was left with a dry, white tongue. This was 10 weeks ago.

t think I had an infection because everything looked good but thought there was something underlying to cause the fatigue so he put me on amoxicillin 500mg 3xday. I was on it a week then I had a day where I felt completely normal again. I woke up the next day with stuffy/runny nose, sore throat, aches & fatigue again! I am not pregnant so I know it couldn't be that. This is my 1st winter as an EMT running w/a co that services long-term care facilities.
I am deathly allergic to yellow food dye. My amoxicillin capsules are made out of yellow food dye. My pharmasit told me that I open the capsule and take just the powder. The problem is the strong taste of the powder makes me gag.what can I do ?

So yesterday I went to the Dr for an ear infection and the Dr said it was pretty bad. He prescribed me amoxicillin 500mg 3 times a day for 10 days. He said it was safe but I am scared. I have called and left a message for my drs assistant. Waiting for a call back. Have any of you had to take this in this dossage?

I'm taking amoxicillin and my cheeks are very red, like i'm sunburnt, and very hot. It's only on my cheeks no where else on my face or body. I've been givien this same medicine many times and have never had this reaction, The only other thing I can think about is I was given a corticosteroid shot and nasal spray called Fluticasone. It's not shown as a side effect of the nasal spray, but could it be from one of these other medicines. Should I call my pharmacist or doctor?

I was told by a doctor I might have a chest infection so she put me on 500mg of amoxicillin three times a day. I'm also on diazepam for muscle spasms and anxiety. I cannot remember is she said it was ok go take them both together.

I went to the dentist 3 days ago she said there is nothing they can do until i finish antibiotic treatment so she prescribed to me 875mg of amoxicillin + 125mg of clavulanate EVERY 8 HOURS. I pretty much been in extreme tooth pain and to add to that every time i take this i get pretty bad stomach pain i describe it as the empty feeling you have when you don't eat anything but x10, so i did some searching and i could not find anywhere saying 875mg every 8 hours i only saw every 12 hours.
m also on the prescription drug amoxicillin for a sinus infection. I started taking amoxicillin and another antibiotic called capmist DM on Monday. I know amoxicillin makes birth control less affective. We did use a condom while having sex and it didn't break. He only came a couple drops and it was in the condom. But on Friday night, Saturday, and a little bit this morning I have been having pains similar to menstrual cramps.
I'm 15 and I made the foolish decision to have unprotected sex with my boyfriend on the 24th of August. I made sure he pulled out over 2 minutes before he was about to finish. I also told him to pee before we did it so the left over sperm would be flushed out in the precum. I was supposed to get my period on the 26th but now it's the 28th and I still haven't gotten it. I usually have a 25 or 26 day cycle but this is day 28 which is very rare for me.
