Dentist prescribed amoxicillin n paracetamol 650mg for the pain . Said that tooth extraction will be done only after delivery . But I'm in so much pain even after taking medicines. Is there no safe anesthesia that can be used on me during extraction ?
On Monday I went doctor since I had some fever and sore throat, he said it was tonsillitis and prescribed me Augmentin 500g (amoxicillin/clavulanate potassium) and paracetamol. Okay now I don't have fever anymore and I don't feel the pain, it's getting better so I've stoped with paracetamol. But since yesterday I've started to have diarrhea. It's painless, I just notice some sounds in my stomach and a sudden need to go wc.
t hurt anymore, my cough got worst, doctor gave me blood test and it went fine, was given expectorant and dequa lozenge and paracetamol this time, he says i having throat congestion and strep throat.
I writing this on my day 9, cause almost every morning i sneeze ( only morning i sneeze for this period of time ) and then there is this huge and bloody phlegm that return from my nose to my mouth, unable to sneeze out.
3, then morning at day 14th there was again fever 38.0 and there was 2 ulcer in my throat painful with white color, i took amoxicillin, and parastomal at 14th day fever goes down, at 37.5 at noon and evening i took medicine again, and at 15th day fever goes away, and at 16th day ulcer goes away, i used one chinese medicine for ulceraway, There are no rashes, was little pain in body, and head, (maybe cause of cold because i stayed whole day outside, or maybe viral infection) ...
I have a ear infection caused by viral infection had sore throat N congestion which I now would trade for this awful ear infection which they put me on amoxicillin and claritin and told Me take tylenol for .. pink eye developed 2-3 days after started antibiotics which my doctor found strange I'm hoping it will clear fast BC didn't give me anything in addition for it and also got yeast infection from the antibiotics!!!!
I had a sore throat and coughing and runny nose and my doctor prescribed me amoxicillin I didn't take all of it but I feel better already so I haven't had to take anymore... I hate taking meds while pregnant but being sick isn't okay either.
I then spoke wirh the doctor again and he said that it could possibly be blocked fluid that cannot drain so to take Sudafed to help, these tablets will be finished tomorrow and my ear pain has only gotten worse, I have been taking ibuprofen and paracetamol as directed alongside this. Is the pain common with the fluid draining or is this something that needs to be seen? Any advice is much appreciated!!!
Wow I've never seen Paracetamol mentioned on here, it's always Tylenol lol. I'm from the UK and its all I take. Paracetamol is safe in pregnancy but they do advise to take the minimal effective dose and for the shortest time.
I saw my dental consultant and he is going to remove my damaged tooth on march 19th (im havin a c section on march 21st) but I am in absolute agony with this tooth it sends pain from the top of my head right down the right side into my jaw, ive tried bonjela paracetamol salt water hot water bottle and clove oil nothing works any advice?
If I suspect Mono, and took a 3 day course of Amoxicillin (10 pills) and developed no rash, can I pretty much rule out mono?
Some sources state 80-90% of those taking Amoxicillin with Mono develop the rash, while I've even seen 99% as a percentage.
I actually want it to be Mono, instead of something worse, but I'm starting to fear the worst.
Have any of you had Mono, been misdiagnosed with Strep and took Amoxicillin, and NOT get the rash?
I had a headache and I took 2 Paracetamol pills. After 2,5 hours I drank a beer. Is this ok or should I have any consequenses?
Today, nine days after beginning to feel sick, I visited my doctor and was prescribed Amoxicillin 875mg tabs to be taken twice a day for the next ten days. My doctor believes I have a sinus infection, hence the Amoxicillin prescription. I did not mention my unsafe sexual encounter to my doctor and I am not having any outward symptoms of any kind of STD.
My question is, can you tell me what if any STD the Amoxicillin would cure if I did contract one from my friend?

I am trying to get my daughter to take Amoxicillin for a throat infection. She won't swallow the capsule. Is it ok to break the pink and blue A45 Amoxicillin capsule in half and mix it in applesauce?
This sounds like it has 100% to do with the Amoxicillin, and not Mono combined with Amoxicillin and so forth.
Amoxicillin can cause joint pain although this is not a common side effect, but can occur and should NOT be permanent, but temporary.
If this hasn't subsided, this definitely needs to be further investigated by your physician.

I typically take 2 grams of amoxicillin before all dental procedures (and some medical ones, too) due to Mitral Valve Prolapse with regurgition and a PFO in the heart.

You should be able to get that in UK. Stops the cough and is great on a sore throat and pregnancy safe. Be careful if you have bee allergies though. Manuka has a lot more healing properties than other varieties of honey and is therefore a little more expensive but totally worth having a jar in the cupboard.
