t get the right amount of sleep I should get (around 4 hours a night mostly). Today I went to wal mart and decided to sit down in the blood pressure gauge thing just to see what it said. the Numbers were 128 over 112. Is this good or bad? I don't really understand the difference. I have just started taking an anti biotic for a sinus infection it is amoxicillin clavulanate. My family does have a history of heart attacks.

For 2 years I have had a pressure in my head when I bend over. My blood pressure is under control. Several doctors have had no suggestions, just don't bend over. I work in my garden a lot and need to bend over. My thyroid profile was in the low normal range. I am 49 yrs. old and about 20 pounds overweight. CT scan of my brain and sinuses were both normal. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Today, nine days after beginning to feel sick, I visited my doctor and was prescribed Amoxicillin 875mg tabs to be taken twice a day for the next ten days. My doctor believes I have a sinus infection, hence the Amoxicillin prescription. I did not mention my unsafe sexual encounter to my doctor and I am not having any outward symptoms of any kind of STD.
My question is, can you tell me what if any STD the Amoxicillin would cure if I did contract one from my friend?
I typically take 2 grams of amoxicillin before all dental procedures (and some medical ones, too) due to Mitral Valve Prolapse with regurgition and a PFO in the heart.
I am currently taking a round of amoxicillin for another problem (strep throat, 2 pills twice a day for 10 days.) These will be finished on this Friday.
I postponed my regularly scheduled teeth cleaning/check-up, because it was only a few weeks away. I re-scheduled it for one month from the end of this amoxicillin treatment.
One of my sons had take amoxicillin for 7 years and then developed hives.
He no longer can take penicillin.
I took a blood pressure med. lisonoprol for ten years and then developed a rare side effect, horrible coughing.
wiped, and saw fresh bright red blood with streaks and very tiny blood clots... I have been having horrible back pain n feeling like pressure pushing down my vag and butt *sigh* (the baby has been wuite acyive though)...i'm def thinking I need to go in now my bags are packed and about to head out...
I also went through a period about a month long where I felt super light-headed and dizzy, and my blood pressure was pretty low (my mother has high blood pressure so we have a blood pressure machine at home). I normallly have low blood pressure, but it was a little bit lower than normal. For a while I thought I did have hypoglycemia, but that phase somewhat went away, and now it's only every now and then that I feel some of these symptoms. Sorry if this is a lot and confusing...
If I suspect Mono, and took a 3 day course of Amoxicillin (10 pills) and developed no rash, can I pretty much rule out mono?
Some sources state 80-90% of those taking Amoxicillin with Mono develop the rash, while I've even seen 99% as a percentage.
I actually want it to be Mono, instead of something worse, but I'm starting to fear the worst.
Have any of you had Mono, been misdiagnosed with Strep and took Amoxicillin, and NOT get the rash?
There is no connection between amoxicillin and Hepatitis C. Sorry you relapsed. What treatment were you on?
So I stopped giving her the amoxicillin. It has been three mornings where she has woken up with dried blood on her mouth. She has an appetite but it hurts her to eat..not to menion she freaks out when she sees the blood on her food. What happened with y our little boy?
i feel no pain in throat or anywhere but the main problem iz headache I feel pressure in my salivary glands area and in my forehead. . . Its feels like depression like situation. very very irritating feeling and constantly headaches. . . .visited 3 ent specialist went through antibiotic therapies. . . Tried various antibiotics like cipro ,azthromycin, roxithromycin, clarithromycin, amoxicillin, and lot more. . . But no effect. . .even tried homeopathic medicine but no effect. . . .
It started gushing out blood/pus so right there the dentist took me back and suctioned it out and hand to numb me several times. It hurt a lot but luckily I'm numb now.
They want to put me on another antibiotic (Keeflex?) but I don't have the money for it. I have about three days/two and a half days left of my penicillin to take though. Will that work/be okay or what should I expect? Even though she drained my abscess will it come back over night?
I am trying to get my daughter to take Amoxicillin for a throat infection. She won't swallow the capsule. Is it ok to break the pink and blue A45 Amoxicillin capsule in half and mix it in applesauce?
This sounds like it has 100% to do with the Amoxicillin, and not Mono combined with Amoxicillin and so forth.
Amoxicillin can cause joint pain although this is not a common side effect, but can occur and should NOT be permanent, but temporary.
If this hasn't subsided, this definitely needs to be further investigated by your physician.
We gave her benadryl Friday in the afternoon and at night and she just woke up again and is still covered in the rash. She also said her lip hurt last night and I noticed it is still a bit swollen. She also still has white spots on the back of her throat. A friend of mine said her daughter had strep and it turned to mono and the amoxicillin didn't "agree" with the mono.... Thanks for your help!
Nine years ago I had bacterial endocarditis from dentist, left me in wheelchair, amnesia and OIC. Will amoxicillin really help kill any infection or is an Echo, cardiologists and fright in my future? Non-smoker, 40 mg morphine daily, 70 lbs overweight (lost 80), no alcoholic, type 2 no insulin.
Is strenuous exercise contraindicated when taking amoxicillin?Also, is sun exposure a factor, and if so, how long after you complete the round of antibiotics should you wait before you are able to go back out in the sun?
