Common Questions and Answers about Allegra dosing chart

allegra

9648 tn?1290091207 That dosage seems a little on the low side. I'd be checking if your NP is going by a flat dosage ribavirin chart or a weight-based dosage (WBD) ribavirin chart. For Schering-Plough and at that weight, I'm thinking you'd be better off at 1000mg of Riba. That's my humble opinion on it. An article on the differences in results between FD and WBD, just in case that's what she's going by. http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/563799 As long as you can handle it ..
1476285 tn?1287337784 Hi I am curious if anyone has found a chart or info on how much interferon, ribavirin and telaprevir a person should take based on their weight. Maybe some of these are not even weight based altho it sure seems like a 100# person would not require as much of any of these as a 300# person but I don't know. If anyone has a link to this or a chart or any info, I'm just curious to know.
Avatar f tn Is there a chart that I can use to convert fentanyl patch strength to the Opana Er strength?
Avatar m tn Well I have had Hashimoto for the past 10 years, and I also have had allergy problems and have taken Allegra D for the past 4 years. I don't think allegra had anything to do with my hashimoto/hypothyroid.
Avatar m tn In the first place Zyrtec tends to make you drowsy and Allegra tends to perk you up. It would be pretty weird to take them together. I take Zyrtec daily and when my allergies act up I take a single dose of Benadryl which is short-acting. that works well for me.
Avatar f tn s when I decided to try the Allegra for the Paxil, problem. Just to let you know, I ended up taking 1/2 of an Allegra and the symptoms went away again. I woke up this morning feeling fine. The zaps usually start late in the day and are not bad. Just to reassure everyone....I have a doctor appointment Monday morning at 9am!!! I will not, however, take another Paxil! Thanks for all you help and input..
Avatar m tn Is it safe to take both Allegra-D and Zyrtec. In short, I suffer from allergies. I find that I feel best when I take a single pill of Allegra-D in the morning and a single pill of Zyrtec at night. In part, I have been doing this because I haven't had to go to the doctor (or Canada) to get more Allegra D so I can take it twice a day. I was wondering what the possible side-effects, besides fatigue, are of the regimen I'm taking? I've felt much better since beginning it.
Avatar f tn I saw a conversion chart on the web that stated each grain of Nauturethroid has 38 mcg of T4 and 9 mcg of T3. Is this correct.
Avatar n tn I will be giving her them on a daily basis. is there a dosage chart i can follow to do the best job and also incorporate weaning her off...? she will be in weekly therapy and atending 1 meeting a wk as required by her therapist...she also takes 40 mgs of celexa before bed .
Avatar f tn Call your local pharmacist. We at MedHelp are not allowed to give out dosing instructions. Your pharmacist will be able to tell you exactly how to dose the medications. If your regular pharmacy is closed on Sunday, call any pharmacist availabe at your local grocery store or drug store such as Walgreens, CVS, or RiteAid.
Avatar f tn Hi! Congratulations! If you were my patient, I would advise you to take the absolute minimum medication that you can get away with during the first trimester especially. BUT having said that, Allegra is pregnancy category C which means that it CAN be used in pregnancy if the benefits out weigh the risks. Hope this helps!
Avatar n tn Loratadine is considered a placebo by many doctors (and many patients that I have talked to). Zyrtec and Allegra are good choices. Since Allegra just came OTC, it will be much more expensive the Zyrtec generic. I take Zyrtec. Take care and feel better. God bless.
Avatar m tn ve been found to have extremely low cortisol and have been following the dosing chart on *************************. Basically every 3 or 4 days you increase by 2.5mg if you haven't seen it. Initially I was feeling slightly better on one dose of 2.5mg each morning then a day or two after being on two doses of 2.5mg I started to feel very spaced out, dizzy, exhausted and confused. I read somewhere that ideally you should raise your dose every 2 weeks or so. Would you agree with this?
Avatar m tn Something alarming happened today. I took two allergy pills around 10:00pm. Around 12 pm I had a baowel movement. The stool looked... fluffy. Not diareah (-sp?) like, but spongy. There were two white things floating. When I looked closer I realized they were the allergy pills I took. It was Allegra D. Could this be the reason they haven't been working like they used to? I mean, they hardly looked like the outer coating was gone. Should I go to the doctor? Be alarmed? That was kinda freaky.
4920683 tn?1370195521 It is a chart on this link. http://www.druginformation.com/RxDrugs/P/Peginterferon%20Alfa-2b%20Injection.html#DAA Here is a thread http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Hepatitis-C/Pegasys-or-Pegintron/show/1877087 This is from the web: Interferon is a drug that mimics a protein in the body that the immune system uses to destroy viruses. Pegylated interferon is a modified form of the drug that is able to stay in the body longer, which provides better treatment.
Avatar f tn Benadryl is safe.
Avatar f tn I would sit tight till they open. These are such new drugs and only your Dr can give you the green light. You don't want to risk SVR unless you know for sure. .....
1402935 tn?1281958699 I tried just general Benadryl and had the same reaction. Red face hard to breath through the nose. I was recently prescribed Allegra and am nervous to take it as it looks like it has a lot of the same medication as benadryl but stronger. Are these medications the same? This discussion is related to Post-Nasal cough?.
Avatar n tn I have multiple issues...oxygen dependent due to pulmonary fibrosis after chronic hypersensitivity pneumonitis. I'm on Advair 500/50, Singulair, Allegra, Mucinex and have been stable for over a year. I also have a history of seasonal allergies (life long) and adult onset asthma. Two weeks ago some respiriatory infection set in: don't know if it was a virus intially--it felt that way--scratchy throat, tender glands, ears plugged.
Avatar f tn I was OK to take Allegra. Ask your Dr. But I know Allegra is safe as well as benadril. And claritain. When in doubt ask a Dr.
Avatar f tn I have really bad allergies and can usually get away with just Zyrtec but this year they are way worse and my doc told me to switch it up and try Claritin or Allegra the Allegra seems to work the best when I also take a sudafed but don't take the combo one just plan Allegra and plain sudafed.
589762 tn?1330207135 I am almost 13 weeks pregnant and called my dr to see what i can take.... he called in a rx for Allegra for me( i have tried Claritan and this does NOT work)..... is this safe.... I know he probably would not have called it in for me if he thought that it wouldnt not be.... But i have done some research and its a class C drug during pregnancy...... any of you ladies taken allegra during pregnancy???
Avatar n tn My oldest son is on Risperdal,as well as three other meds. He has done quite well with Allegra for seasonal allergies, and even better with Zyrtec. Zyrtec is OTC but allegra is not. Both are well tolerated with Risperdal. Benaadryl is not good with Risperdal. My son, age 17, is zonked out when he takes both. He basically is out like a light and doesn't wake up in the morning (until about 12 hours later) the few times he has taken it. Not good at all.
Avatar n tn I'd be interested to know what input you get about this. I have been having what seem to be allergy episodes -- nasal congestion, watery eyes, clear mucous -- for a day or 2, then it's gone. I don't use decongestants as I have a history of Afib, pac's & pat. My first episode, I woke up with Afib and ending up needing to be electro-converted. I am abut ready to see an allergist, as I can't identify a trigger. Is the omeprazole a proton pump inhibitor for reflux?
Avatar f tn I use zyertec and benadryl. My doctor has said they are both safe. Check with your doctor they should have an approved list of meds you can take.
