allegra and tylenol sinus

For several mornings I have to clear my throat, and the roof of my mouth is very tender, when I try to clear nasal passage through mouth I have severe bleeding, this area is very tender and raw feeling. I have to apply pressure bandage to stop bleeding. I take Allegra allergy medication, and Nasacort nose spray. What can I do to stop tenderness and bleeding, and could this be infection?

I'm 19 weeks and 5 days pregnant, and I'm having some Hella bad migraines. I also have terrible sinuses, heartburn and I've been physically sick alot, with a fever and what not. I'm allergic to acetmenaphin(tylenol) which is supposedly the only thing I can take while pregnant. My doctor refuses to write me prescriptions for anything else and tells me to deal with it and there's nothing else like aspirin that I can take. She's very rude.

I had a doctor about 20 years ago that used to give me antibiotics every time I had a sinus infection. For about a year he was treating my sinus infections with multiples antibiotics, and the whole time it was allergies. Since I change doctors I have become immune to many antibiotics and it is hard for doctor to treat me for infections. Question is what do you think can be done and what I can do about stopping Allegra D; if I do I will have a sinus infection within one week or less.

I have bad allergies so I take Allegra and over the past 5 years I have had several sinus infections and I have been on several different allergy meds and antibiotics. I would try some OTC allergy meds like Claritin or Allegra. If you can afford to (sort of pricey at $20 for a 2 week supply) I would get Claritin-D or Allegra-D. They have an antihistamine as well as a decongestant. You have to get them from a pharmacist (behind the counter) and show your ID. I take Claritin-D daily for the same symptoms you have. I get bad headaches at night and my nose gets stuffed, with sneezing and runny eyes.

I tried just general Benadryl and had the same reaction. Red face hard to breath through the nose. I was recently prescribed Allegra and am nervous to take it as it looks like it has a lot of the same medication as benadryl but stronger. Are these medications the same? Decongestant nasal sprays work great-talk to your doc about which ones are safe & won't conflict with meds you are already on.

Or I get prescribed mucinex, which makes me irritable, unable to sleep properly, and have horrific nightmares or allegra, which gives me hives. My doctor told me that zyrtec and claritin are ok but not allegra. If you perfer natural remedies, chamomile tea, vapor rub, hot chicken broth with a little cheyenne, lots of fruits and veggies-especially vitamin c. Netti pots work great for sinus problems, just make sure to use distilled water.

I have severe allergies requiring 9 allergy shots weekly and I noticed that on the days when my allergies are really bad my heart rate increases. I have had all the cardiac workup and other than showing periods of sinus tachycardia my heart is fine. Could allergies be doing this?

The symptoms you list do not sound like allergies and sinus infection do me (dizziness, confusion, SOB, and head numbness). By head numbness, do you mean of the skin or inside your head?

i finally saw a doctor today after a year of sinus and eustachian tube symptoms and off and on dizziness. mostly it was the spooky dizziness that made me want to see a doctor.

I am 14.5 weeks pregnant. I have had problems with congestion since 8 weeks. Since about 11 weeks, it has been unmanageable. ve tried 3 different antibiotics for sinus infection. Also tried flonase, allegra, and Sudafed. Nothing seems to help. I feel pressure mostly in my forehead. Should I seek a different Doctor? Should I seek different medications? I do not know what to do anymore.
