I finished 3 courses of antibiotics in last two months, levofloxasin, norfloxasin, and Cefixime. Then I showed to a urologist in the last week and he put me on 30 days course of Alfuzosin. Not sure if is the antibiotics or the Alfuzosin that has worked but I am feeling 90% better now but the frequent urination persists. Erection feels uncomfortable and still mild pain at the penis tip sometimes.

I like to know as much as I can about my meds. I know the lethal dose of lithium is about 5gs or 5000mgs which is about 5 times what I am prescribed. I also have looked up the symptoms of lithium toxicity (not fun). But I can't seem to fine anywhere how long after a lethal amount or a small overdose (such as 1 accidental extra dose) on top of toxicity symptoms would start to show or when death would take place. So my question is when would symptoms begin to show and when would death occur.

that is an extremely high dose...you should know that barbiturate tolerance is very different than tolerance to other things. you need more and more but the lethal dose remains the same...so if 1gm is the lethal dosage, it won't change just because you've built a tolerance to the effects of it. i would find a taper plan immediately. you are very close to that lethal dose mark. barbiturates are so rare that most people don't understand the addiction.

It is a steriodal pain reliever, normally given as a last resort to elderly people for pain. Just DO NOT suddenly stop, that very well is lethal. It is a very dangerous drug and you must be taken off gradually, (so u dont die) and then swith to a non-steroidal anti inflamatory, or NSAID like Aleve, Ibuprofen or Tylenol. Id reccomend getting a seccond opinion about the benneficial vs lethal effects of your prednisone. It is normally only prescibed for a week max.

With methadone ,as well as other drugs,one persons dose could cause another persons death.Perhaps some more information would help.Why was your son in detox,what was he addicted to? Was he on methadone prior to going and if he was how long was he on it? What do you mean by the doctor misread the labs and started him out on triple the amount?How high was his dose? an effect of wd,youll probably have the shakes bad, sometimes minor to Violent convulsions, people on relaly longer term use with extremely high dose can have lethal seizures, general bad feeling/mood, muscle pain,aches, and spasms, and theyre are alot more but it depends on the severity of use you had, let me know how much and how long?..you could also be tapering your dose a little too fast, the best bet is to take it slow and at your own pace..

What your describing is not methadone withdrawals and that is a HUGE amount of clonapine dont know if thats enough to make him act the way he is or he might very well be mixing it with something else.....the clonipine at that dose is lethal and if he got pulled over by the cops he would not be able to pass a sobriety test.....

I think the Xanax would just put you to sleep, that's a fairly high dose.

i agree. that amount of oxy is dangerous. alot of us have gotten through disk damage through other means. found other ways of pain management. please feel free to PM me if you want some input. i did it all. i knwo the insomnia is hard. and i don't think anyone here can tell you if it's a lethal dose - that mix. it is for some, not for others.
