I took my first dose of Alendronate and then experience significant muscle pain for the next 4 days. Does anyone know if I should expect this to happen each time I take it or is it something to happen for the first few times until my body adjusts to the medicine?
Do you mean Fosamax (alendronate)? If you do, its for treating bone problems like Osteoperosis by adding bone mass and slows bone loss. I use it for Osteopenia.

BUT, im mad because i know the dr will tell my dad. And, i cant have that. I dont want my family knowing. Do i have any course of a lawsuit? What do i do? The authors examined the effects of high-dose oral alendronate (40 mg daily) for 6 months on 3 adult patients with intractable headache due to fibrous dysplasia of the skull. Each patient had disease processes not amenable to surgery. The patients underwent clinical follow-up at 1, 3, and 6 months. Their pain levels were documented at each visit by using a visual analog scale. All 3 patients demonstrated a significant decrease in pain levels and became independent of scheduled analgesics.

I am also taking Aromasin for bc. Stopped alendronate (I am osteopenic due to 30 yrs of prednisolone and Arimidex) in case this caused the oesophagitis. Would appreciate your advice.
thankyou,i am with contact of my doctor ,he said there is no solution for damaged vertibras,but calcium and vitiman d and alendronate sodium/cholecaiciferol tablets will help spine and bones from further damages but what to do with prednisones i cant stop them because of asthma and taking of them will damage other bones isnt there any other solution instead of prednisones, i know there is nothing accept these because my doctor told me:(

Osteoporosis medications like Raloxifene (Evista), alendronate (Fosomax), risendronate (Actonel) and ibandronate (Boniva) all can cause flu like symptoms in individuals that are taking them. I am not sure what medications you are on, but this could be your problem.
after just being informed of this lawsuit, i would like to know how to become part of it as well!!! i have used their bras for 2 years now and for the last 6mths i bought 4 new bras from victoria secret and could not figure out why i had such a bad rash under my breasts. i thought it was a skin condition so i am presently making a dermatologist appointment!!! if you hear anything please let me know! my email is ***@****!
A friend of mine is currently under a doctors care where he is involved in a lawsuit claiming a work related injury where he was paid off the books. He has a back injury disc problem and is prescirbed oxycodone 20 mgs to take 4 times per day.
He has been taking this for approximately one year and will be taking this until the lawsuit gets resolved, which could be another year or so. He is unemployed and has no medical insurance. All costs incurred are going to the lawsuit.
Can you tell me if the Tram Flap Reconstruction problems that I hear about all over the internet be associated with the Pelvic Mesh class action lawsuit. $100 million, eh? That is going to solve what? $100 million is going to take away the pain, deaden the reality of what happened?
This all started in 2004 we are now and 2012 and I am still suffering, except now I know its the Victoria Bras... Please I would really like to join this lawsuit, I have medical evidence to prove it.
