d for 3 days prior, she had a dental procedure in which the dentist removed 9 teeth and completed 6 bone grafts with Lodicaine local anastheyic only to start denture procedures. He gave no medicationa for infection it pain. She died that night in her sleep. The autopsy preliminary results are stating that her heart was 2-3x enlarged from normal, and that she showed signs of CHF including in her liver and kidneys. But no signs of clots or infection at all. Please help me understand!!!
I took my first dose of Alendronate and then experience significant muscle pain for the next 4 days. Does anyone know if I should expect this to happen each time I take it or is it something to happen for the first few times until my body adjusts to the medicine?
Do you mean Fosamax (alendronate)? If you do, its for treating bone problems like Osteoperosis by adding bone mass and slows bone loss. I use it for Osteopenia.

The authors examined the effects of high-dose oral alendronate (40 mg daily) for 6 months on 3 adult patients with intractable headache due to fibrous dysplasia of the skull. Each patient had disease processes not amenable to surgery. The patients underwent clinical follow-up at 1, 3, and 6 months. Their pain levels were documented at each visit by using a visual analog scale. All 3 patients demonstrated a significant decrease in pain levels and became independent of scheduled analgesics.

I am also taking Aromasin for bc. Stopped alendronate (I am osteopenic due to 30 yrs of prednisolone and Arimidex) in case this caused the oesophagitis. Would appreciate your advice.
thankyou,i am with contact of my doctor ,he said there is no solution for damaged vertibras,but calcium and vitiman d and alendronate sodium/cholecaiciferol tablets will help spine and bones from further damages but what to do with prednisones i cant stop them because of asthma and taking of them will damage other bones isnt there any other solution instead of prednisones, i know there is nothing accept these because my doctor told me:(

Osteoporosis medications like Raloxifene (Evista), alendronate (Fosomax), risendronate (Actonel) and ibandronate (Boniva) all can cause flu like symptoms in individuals that are taking them. I am not sure what medications you are on, but this could be your problem.
s better to get your dental work done than to let it go and possibly cause infection! Especially if you got white fillings... I don't think they use Mercury in silver fillings anymore but I know they used to, but not white fillings! Anyways, you'll definitely be fine. I drank and smoked like crazy while I was pregnant without knowing I was and my son is perfectly healthy!
It would be recommended to go back to your Dentist to have this condition treated as left alone it will just progress.
Hey jude! Wish I could tell you what they are, but I can't. If they are throbbing and painful, I wouldn't waste any time getting to the dentist. Oral/dental infections can be quite dangerous if let go too long.

Complication after dental anesthetic injection is extremely rare. The descrbed blister may be periodontal or periapical abscess. Seeing a dentist is advised.
