my son is 27 years old and is displaying all of Bipolar mood shifts, and every time he drinks he turns into mr. hide he has a chemical imbalance for sure due to alcohol and he refuses to admit to the problem... Violence is a crime. The persons committing the violence need to seek professional help. They also need to pray God give them grace to overcome that. Someone will end up in jail.

I have not heard anyone saying that it must be a white male, much less christian, and as far as obama and what he will call it? I believe he said this is not normal and as he has always stated, it is time to take a serious look at some common sense regulation on who can access guns. As far as if it was terrorism or not, there are conflicting clues and at this time the motive is not clear. Is this our new normal?

I actually found out a strange way I was getting ready to drink when I saw this little boy and I just started talking with him and he was so adorable I teared up and decided not to buy the alcohol my husband made fun of me saying oh what you think your pregnant and two days later I felt a little nauseous so I bought a test and it came out positive :)

It's nobody's fault but mine that I'm an addict. If I didn't take Oxycontin, I would have found my addiction in the bottom of a bottle of alcohol or another substance. The fact is that Oxycontin, when used correctly and responsibly, helps millions of people with chronic pain live normal lives. It's selfish addictive thinking that makes my addiction more important than their quality of life.

We are not doctors here so not sure. But this sounds like a big concern. You need to talk to a professional right away. Abuse is never okay, even when a person has an illness. Also drinking and medication do not mix well and often when people are ill they may use drugs or alcohol to self-medicate.

I am not too familiar with blood alcohol, but I would think that maybe you could have been dehydrated and that could have caused the reading. Try drinking more water next time.

Today in my aftercare we had to watch this movie -- It was insane. It is called "Once Were Warriors". I dont know if anyone knows about it but it is about the affects of alcohol and domestic violence on this tribal family living in New Zealand. Our counselor is from a reservation and said that the kinds of abuse shown in this movie were common where she grew up. The violence in this film is so horrific and sickening some people walked out of the room and didnt come back.

There are so many different studies and opinions on this issue, I don't think it will ever be resolved... We all know that study data can be skewed any way one wants to skew it, in order to come up with the preferred results. If they're irregular, it's possible she's not even the whole 3 months along, which would kind of help because the sooner you quit the better. However, she won't know until the doc appt and shouldn't stress too much about it. What's done is done and cannot be reversed. There's no hard facts on small amounts of liquor because they can't really study it to say ok stop, this much more and your baby will have FAS.

actually drinking alcohol helps lower your sugar levels because even though alcohol has carbs the sugar does not get into your system because of the alcohol.. so i say, if your gonna have a shake, make sure to drink a bit before and a lil after... or like when my numbers were in 400's one weekend cause of a cookout, i drank a little and they went to 110 :) so just drink when you wanna help your numbers..
