Well the statement was made after the "getting some" comment. This could be a typo due to being so excited. In earlier posts she said he went in at 20 week. Now she 32 weeks. That is 12 weeks - about 3 months. And from the way shes talked about her husband, it seems like she really loves him.. maybe this was just a typo.
But regardless, I'm sure a more supportive comment would have been a little better.
There is human growth hormone but that is given to those lacking it in the early teen years (I have two nieces who received this). My nieces were deficient in this and took shots daily for a good while but for them, it was a full health issue and not to just gain height. Are your parents of short stature? Genetics are the biggest predictor of our height. I have two kids and one is quite tall. Always has been in the 90th percentile for height. One is short and always has been.
Another thought - there's a wonderful movie that just left the theaters so you could find it - "Boyhood". It's INCREDIBLY well done - it follows a boy from the age of about 5 to about 20, using the same cast of actors who age that whole time. It's really full of heart, as well as being interesting from a perspective of watching actors age before your eyes.
