The Secret Service says it takes an average of 37 officers to secure the tours. Each officer's total pay (including benefits) averages $50 an hour. And, although the tours only are only open for 20 ½ hours per week, Donovan says the officers are on the clock for 40 hours. So - 37 officers at $50 an hour for 40 hours a week adds up to $74,000.

So I'm a FTM, I'm 25 weeks and I just had a few questions.
First, when should I sign up for the birthing classes? The hospital my doctor is sending me to has classes but doesn't have any recommendations on when to take them by.
Second, I really don't know what to expect and I don't really have anybody who is helping me through all this and I've heard of people getting tours of their hospital, is that recommended, will it benefit me?

I would love to get this treatment because it does not involve a cirgurey or anything like that, its very easy and dont need to stay at no hospital, i could just go home after it. But im a little afraid of any side effects, or any complication.
While I've never to a White House tour and had no intention of going, I doubt seriously that the tours had to be cancelled at this point. Canceling the tours is all well and good, but if they're going to do that, they need to stop taking reservations and follow through with the ones already made. I'm sure people have made specific travel plans for these tours and the cancellations could end up being quite costly for a lot of people.

I'm 26 weeks and called to schedule a tour yesterday. I was told that they no longer schedule since everyone is deciding to go into labor and that whenever I feel like taking a tour, give them a call 30 minutes prior so they can see if they have a room to show. Wasn't expecting that answer...
My Dad is 70 years old, while he was visiting us (in Pennsylvania) from Peru he was hospitalized due to a GI bleeding (ulcer). When he was at the hospital he had a Transthoracic Echocardiogram, which confirmed an aortic regurgitation that was previously detected in Peru last December.
The results of the 2-d Echo performed at the hospital are:
"Moderate to severe aortic regurgitation is present. I cannot tell if the AV is bicuspid or tricuspid. The Ejection Fraction is estimated at 68%.

AC went out in the house this evening. It is HOT!! Landlord said he would come tomorrow to look at it but that is not soon enough! Lol. I am south Texas...I know it could be worse but with this pregnancy I am always hot as it is and so no AC makes it worse. I have 3 fans on me and that's helping some. Plus I LOVE to sleep with it really cold and sleep better with it cold. Its going to be a LONG night!!
My AC 1 values have been just slightly above the "normal" values for 2 lab tests in a row.Should I be concerned that I possibly have diabetes? When I say barely above normal, I'mtalking 5-10 points over the top of the "normal" value.
Hi, I'm planning a trip to peru and bolivia. as known these areas ( mostly cusco and bolivia ) are area located at 3000+ altitude. I'm planning to rise very graddually so altitude sickness won't be a problem.
The thing is i'm epileptic. last seizure was 3 years ago. I'm getting 1000mg depalept chromno.
21 yo. healthy besides that. in shape. I am worried these areas can somehow trigger a seizure.
