zyrtec zoloft interactions

I want to get off zoloft too, but want to wait until I have been off tram longer. (Been on zoloft 7 years) I take a low dose of zoloft- 50 mgs. 1x day. I have read a few long articles on SAM-e, but they just say to check with your dr. I dont want to do that cause he isnt gonna know. He may pretend to, but he is not going to really know. i am on day 3 of w/d from tram and i desperately need something for my horrible mood swings and depression.

I take my zoloft and ativan in morning as it me jittery and causes insomnia. I have seasonal allergies and was wondering the best OTC antihistamine would work better. Allegra, Zyrtec or loratadine. I was on 12.5 zoloft for 2 weeks and tapering up to 25 mg (split another 12.5 in half so 3/4 a pill then one whole 25 mg. I have to do this slowly as I am super sensitive to meds. Thanks for any help. Plus I eventually need to taper down my ativan when I level on the zoloft.

Is it bad to stop taking Zoloft cold turkey? It really works for my anxiety, but I've been taking other meds and I'm afraid of interactions. I take Tylenol, Ibuprofen, and Mobic.

He has done quite well with Allegra for seasonal allergies, and even better with Zyrtec. Zyrtec is OTC but allegra is not. Both are well tolerated with Risperdal. Benaadryl is not good with Risperdal. My son, age 17, is zonked out when he takes both. He basically is out like a light and doesn't wake up in the morning (until about 12 hours later) the few times he has taken it. Not good at all. Claritin does not work for him either, nor anyone in my family.

With Zoloft and BuSpar the interaction is a pharmacodynamic type interaction. There is an additive effect. Both increase serotonin levels. Contraindicated unless benefits outweigh risks and no alternatives available.

I take zoloft and ultram on a daily bsbis. Is there any concern with bad interactions? so far I feel none.

Looked at the drug interactions monograph, thought it was a reaction to the generic Zyrtec and called my doc. He told me to stop taking the zyrtec and ordered liver function tests. Well, tests came back with high enzymes and bilirubin and he told me to stop taking ALL medications. Ordered an ultrasound which he said was negative, and ordered the blood work again. He seems to think it's liver damage due to drug toxicity.

hi i was in the process of switching from zoloft to effexor due to the fact the zoloft doesnt help as it did before. but im confused, my new psych dr recomended i try taking both for at least a month TOGETHER. and im scared of this i see right here on this site it says theres possibly severe interactions to combing these?? i mentioned this to him and he seemed to brush that off or not agree??? help.

I take my birth control consistently at the same time every day and have never missed a pill and I also take Zoloft, but my doctors have said there are no interactions between the two. I've been taking it for about 3 weeks but I also take zoloft 50mg at night I don't if theirs interactions with both of them but I seem that the klonopin first really work that much for me it just make me relax for a couple hours but I find when I take the zoloft I feel relaxed???
