I have never had any sexual contact at all i am still a virgin but ive been gettin these lumps an knots in only places where i sweat or where i have skin on skin contact meaning like my thighs rubbing together i was doing research online an i came across a disease call Hidradenitis suppurativa an i was kinda wondering was it that but my skin doesnt look as bad as those pictures but i have some of those symptoms. do you know what oitments contain mupirocin or neomycin?
I was wondering if it is impetigo, and if so, how do I treat it so close to his eye with him wearing glasses? I have never seen impetigo. The only thing I know about it is what I have read on this website. Any info would really help.
It had been now a week and i wonder what is it. we had been applying histocalamine ointment 2 to 3 times daily mixed with Cetaphil ( petrolum jelly).
Apprently he does not have any fever not even change in behavoir since last week. He is not under any medication and takes mothers brest milk and no formula at all. However he had Exzema to which he is recovering with Just appliyng Cetaphil ( 4 times daily) and ocassional hydrocortizone ( once month if needed ).
Well I researched it and that is what is what the medication is called. Its called mupirocin.

I disagree. I've had folliculitis on my scalp for the past 10 years. Over this time I've come to know very well what does and doesn't affect my scalp and I know that the more I alcohol drink the worse my scalp becomes. If I don't drink anything for maybe 2-3 weeks, my scalp almost clears up completely. After which the condition returns with a vengeance once I recommence drinking.
m very clean, take a shoer everyday, clean clothes ect.. but this past summer I had what the doctors thought was either staff or MRCA on my inner right thigh. I was prescribed heavy pills and cream and after a lot of frustration and pain it went away. A few days ago I was shaving "down there" (yes i know it's not healthy but I don't like hair there) and I was shaving around my butthole and nicked myself a little. It wasn't bad and I ignored it.
I have these hard white bumps in my groin area. They seem to be slowly spreading. What is causing them and how can I treat them?
I had a red bump on my grown, the NP I saw thinks it's folliculitis but did not perscribe anything to treat it. I've had it for 5 days now and it does not appear to be much better, the pustule opened up yesterday but the skin underneath it still irritated and red. I'm worried about it, treating it at home with white vinegar hot compress and apply iodine.
How long should this take to clear up?
Two days ago, I noticed about 3 or 4 very tiny what looked like small "whitehead" pimples on my glans penis. The white portion has since been scratched off, or popped in the course of normal walking, daily activity and no it is simply a small red splotch. This does not hurt, itch, burn, etc. I have no burining sensation when urinating or any other symptoms.
Ok is this poison ivy or possibly something else? It does itch, it's hot to the touch and obviously very red.

I have what looks like a rash that started when I took Hydroxycut for 6 weeks. It presented itself with inflamed red spots in the hair follicles but no pus. They would break into a sore and as one healed another popped up. No itch. It has been six weeks since I stopped the hydroxycut. My skin is slightly discolored on the forearms with a purplish splotch to it. I continue to break out but I am on Zyretec 10 mg a day BID and use hydrocortisone at night to keep this under a little control.
The treatments do seem to be helping to reduce the rash (I was given Valacyclovir and Mupirocin 2% ointment to treat both) but the itching is still out of control. Has anyone here experienced an aggressive itch related to these conditions, or do you think it's more likely scabies, or possibly an allergic reaction to some sort of insect bite?

An antibacterial ointment will help prevent further irritation/infection and spreading. Aloe vera can't hurt either. Try not to pop the little buggers in the future as this is what's causing the spreading behind the ear and neck area.
The lesions lOOK just like what I see online for impetago photos and the derm did just give me mupirocin topical so he must now be considering it possible impetago.......it might, might be improving ???? on this the third day of mupirocin but if it is it is very SLOW improvement (if any) and still some new lesions come daily. It is a blistery type rash. It does not itch but is VERY painful and bleeds or oozes clear fluid. Until they drain, the area swells which hurts a lot.

Hi, I'm 14 and I have recently discovered a pimple like bump down in my vaginal area. It's only hurts if I put pressure to it. I have never had sex!
