Common Questions and Answers about Varicose veins in my scrotum

HI, i'm a 51 year old male who had surgery for a varicose vein in my scrotum one moth ago.Had lots of pain in my left testicle before the surgery, now i'm working out feeling better but still feeling a dull ache in my left testicle.Would like feedback from anybody who has had this surgery, and how they have made out after sugery.
I also have varicose veins on my scrotum. They are all on just the left side of my scrotum. Is this unusual? What would cause them to pop up on the scrotum? They do bleed occasionally and it is embarrassing to have blood stains on the crotch of your pants. Is there anything I can do to help prevention of the bleeding? Plus is there any way of hiding them? It is kinda embarassing when at the gym in the showers and you have these purple bumps all over one side of your scrotum.
i am 15 and i have varicocele veins in my scrotum i recently had surgery to fix them but if their not fixed they can cause infertility cause they keep to much blood in the sac causing the sperm to die cause they get to warm and a vericocele only happens to the left nut
For years I have had enlarged veins all over the outside of my scrotum. They tend to bulge in spots like a weak wall in a garden hose and rupture if irritated in any way. I have read about a vericocele which is a cluster of veins on the inside of the scrotum (which I can not detect in any way), but have yet to see the problem I am describing discussed, which involves vacose veins on the surface of the scrotum. What causes this problem and what can I do to correct this it.
http://www.patient.co.uk/showdoc/23068876/ “Normally, you cannot see or feel the veins in the spermatic cord that carry the blood from the testes. If you have a varicocele, the veins become bigger (they enlarge or dilate) and this makes them more prominent. It is similar to varicose veins of the legs. The size of a varicocele can vary. A large varicocele is sometimes said to look and feel like 'a bag of worms' in the scrotum.” I would suggest you see a surgeon at the earliest. Hope this helps.
if i continue my workout dat is lifting heavy weights will it b harmful 2 me in any way??????
Not just the one's shown in this picture, but all over my scrotum are red veins. The skin on my scrotum has also changed dramatically. The scrotum itself hangs a lot lower than usual and when it does happen to be cold and pulled up to the body, it is very rough feeling. I've been tested for all STI's as well as had a platelet count and all is normal. I do not have a history of using cortisone creams in the area.
It doesn't really cause a problem now, but it just feels like there's something in the right side of my scrotum that wasn't there before this happened. If it is a variceole, sack of veins or whatever, should I be concerned? The other part of the question is that a few months after I stopped jelqing, I developed some purple veins at the surface level on my penis, close to where the large vein appeared.
however about 6 months ago i noticed these veins started getting worse.. the ones on my penis in particular.. they are not the normal penis veins but rather spider looking and they are increasing a nd spreading out all over my penis.. it l;ooks awfuil and can only imagine what it will look like in a few months let alone a few years! its like blood is somehow leaking into my penis from somewhere else..
hi i am 19 year old male and i was checking my testicals when i noticed a purlpe vein on my scrotum it looks simalar to a spider vein / varicose vein and if touched has a pain i am more conserned i have never spotted it before, is this a new vien is it as sinister as it looks ??
(This is essentially the same process that leads to varicose veins, which are common in the legs.) Varicoceles usually develop slowly. They are more common in men ages 15 - 25 and are most often seen on the left side of the scrotum. Varicoceles are often the cause of infertility in men. The sudden appearance of a varicocele in an older man may be caused by a kidney tumor, which can block blood flow to a vein. This is more common on the left side than the right.
I found this advice in a thread from 2009 and sounds similar to what you described. These swollen veins can be due to varicose veins or superficial thrombophlebitis. Penile varicose veins may bruise during sexual intercourse and thus wearing of a condom is highly recommended. Also use of lubricants is recommended during masturbation or during sexual intercourse to avoid bruising the vein. Mondor’s disease is superficial thrombophlebitis of the penis.
The varicose veins in my legs become very engorged and painful after an ejaculation. I also have varicoceles in my scrotum, they don't bother me. I am sure that there is a connection between the ejaculation and the pain that lasts for 30 minutes to several hours. A CT scan shows Vena Cava clear. I have treatment planned for the veins in my legs but I am concerned that doctors cannot explain the connection.
A lingering ache in my left testicle, after being outside sun bathing. I checked my scrotum and sure enough there was two light blueish veins on my scrotum I hadnt noticed before, and later the next day after some biking I had pain and looked again and the one on the left testicle was more pronounced and enlarged. Its always been when I stand up long periods or I get a hot shower my balls hang low and hurt in my left testicle.
I have 3 veins that consistently are dilated and varicose in my sac. But the redness pattern stays the same, it never changes. I often get burning in my legs, outer thighs and top of feet. But that comes and goes. Sitting seems to make it worse. The one constant is like a buzzing tingling feeling in my nuts. That is the most predominant symptom. Does anyone out there have a similar experience? Has anyone tried Acupuncture? Even a vasectomy’s invasive procedure may cause this to sidetrack.
: A little different from the other posts about pain... Mine is in the scrotum and is pretty dull. Sometimes it is a sharp pain that lasts a few minutes.. other times, its extremely mild, and most of the time I don't feel anything. It also feels like a vessel below and just behind my right testicle is swollen. This seems to be the source of the pain. : : I've had this off and on for over 3 months.

Please give me some information. My husband has a vericose vein in the scrotum, and the Dr thinks he should have surgery. We have been trying to get pregnant for 3 yrs and all along Dr thought it was me. Well finally I suggested my husband be tested and his sperm count is very very low and vericose vein in scrotum. Now he has a hard time keepin an erection if he doesnt consetrate and usually cant go for a second round, it just dies.
My symptoms at this point are still pain on my right testicle (and spreads to the left sometimes), red and warm scrotum on the right side, feels like my right side of my scrotum is inflated, discharge from penis from time to time (it used to be much worse but now, after 5 months, is at a minimum), soreness around the thighs, difficulty starting a urine stream, and when I do it is not a strong stream like it used to be and I have to force the remaining urine out with a couple of pushes at the en

varicocele ( benign varicose veins of the scrotum which are surgically repaired for infertility and rarely for pain. They are diagnosed by testicular exam. Varicocele pain is usually controlled with Tylenol or aspirin-like products. 2.Chronic pain can also result from previous injury, infection or surgery ( rare, 50), is most likely caused by benign prostatic hypertrophy.

Now that my hernias are repaired, however, I the vein is still there, so unfortunately that dint fix it. Also, I have what I believe to be is a hydrocele in my left scrotum, as well as a very small floating cyst that increases and decreases in size. Could this have any correlation? Lastly, I get pain in my perineum and bottom of penis after ejaculation and the area is usually swollen and tender. I tend to leak afterwards and have a lot of precum as well.
There is usually little to no pain associated with these type of varicose veins (scrotum varicose veins can cause pain). No real medical treatment for it and not harmful to you or your partners. See a doctor, though. You'll feel better and get better, regardless. Take care.
At the same time I have been experiencing discomfort in my abdomen and my tummy visibly shakes from my own heart beat. My groin is also in pain and over last 72 hours my scrotum spontaneously developed a LOT of vericose veins, dark ones, and the veins on my penis bulge even when flaccid. This started happening most pronounced on the right side of my scrotum and penis.
A minimally invasive radiological procedure called embolization can, in most cases, correct the problem. Correcting varicose veins in scrotum boosts sperm count, motility. Go here : http://www.bio-medicine.org/medicine-news-1/Simple-Procedure-Improves-Male-Fertility-24302-1/ You can do exercises but not weights. Discuss the treatment modalities near a surgeon as it varies from case to case.
Also tried a female breast cancer med that people had success with. There was also a surgery to help correct varicose veins in his scrotum. The doctor should discuss all these kinds of options with you. I'm holding a 5 day old miracle in my arms. Don't give up hope. Ever!
Lately i have been having a sharp pain in my left testicle, inner thigh, and sometimes even my foot after exercising. I do not notice any lumps or abnormal things with my testicles. What could this be?
I also feel some kind of pitching in my lower abdomen (above my testicles), and behind my belly button (it seems like some neurlagia pain, a tingling sensation). I had ultrasonography, and here’s the results (I’m translating, so excuse any mistakes): measures of right testicle:40x26x19,4mm, volume 10,9cm3, left: 31x24x14mm, vol. 5,6cm3 (and it’s said it’s below the norm, probalby because it’s “wandering” nature). Echogenicity of both test. is right. Structure of both test. are right.
