Avatar n tn of a vein, this is probably what you have. There is usually little to no pain associated with these type of varicose veins (scrotum varicose veins can cause pain). No real medical treatment for it and not harmful to you or your partners. See a doctor, though. You'll feel better and get better, regardless. Take care.
Avatar m tn A minimally invasive radiological procedure called embolization can, in most cases, correct the problem. Correcting varicose veins in scrotum boosts sperm count, motility. Go here : http://www.bio-medicine.org/medicine-news-1/Simple-Procedure-Improves-Male-Fertility-24302-1/ You can do exercises but not weights. Discuss the treatment modalities near a surgeon as it varies from case to case.
Avatar m tn s shown in this picture, but all over my scrotum are red veins. The skin on my scrotum has also changed dramatically. The scrotum itself hangs a lot lower than usual and when it does happen to be cold and pulled up to the body, it is very rough feeling. I've been tested for all STI's as well as had a platelet count and all is normal. I do not have a history of using cortisone creams in the area.
571167 tn?1223214465 These meds cause hostility, restlessness, digestive, vascular (varicose veins, hemrhoids, and varicose veins in the scrotum--infertility), urinary, reproductive (impotence), digestive problems, sleeplessness, ticks, stiffness, and more! The bottom line is that the drugs make them money.
1634499 tn?1300193997 After surgery the pain in the scrotum is relieved a bit, and there is less vericose veins in my left scrotum now. But the dragging heaviness in scrotal is not totally gone, cos i can touch there are still some dilated veins inside especially underneath my left testis. I'm trying to live with the pain now. For back pain, I try to eat more fruits and vegetable to have regular motion passing and it really help to relieve a back pain.
Avatar m tn Because of unauthorised doctors most of the boys take it as any complicated disease. There is no reality in this. Human body has veins under the skin all over the body. These veins are clearly shown at the back of the hand also. Clearly showing of veins on penis is not any disease and it does not need any treatment. If the veins on scrotum are very obvious than it could be a disease called Varicose which can cause infertility.
Avatar n tn http://www.patient.co.uk/showdoc/23068876/ “Normally, you cannot see or feel the veins in the spermatic cord that carry the blood from the testes. If you have a varicocele, the veins become bigger (they enlarge or dilate) and this makes them more prominent. It is similar to varicose veins of the legs. The size of a varicocele can vary. A large varicocele is sometimes said to look and feel like 'a bag of worms' in the scrotum.” I would suggest you see a surgeon at the earliest.
Avatar f tn Hello dear experts , im male 34 years old and i obese 125kg 174cm height , i have swollen varicoses swollen in my legs also in the middle of my knee what should i do pls help
Avatar m tn I just thought I'd comment, as a woman. Any woman that says ANYTHING about your penis being not up to par is a WASTE of your time. Don't let anyone think you are less than perfect for ANY reason. Women have to embrace the differences in men just as much as men have to embrace the differences in women. We all look different-- some have stretch marks, different looking vaginas and labia, but that really doesn't matter unless you make it your priority.
155701 tn?1230047101 Medical Insurance plans cover this. I only mention this because I have spider veins (mostly in my right thigh) but they are just ugly, not painful, so the treatment to get rid of them is not covered by insurance. In any case, I would say it's a circulation issue and that it could be a more severe version of varicose veins. I would see a doctor if I were in pain with mine. Take care!
Avatar m tn What i am going to do with this varicose veins in my hands? how to erase it?
229857 tn?1319029907 I had varicose veins pop up with my second pregnancy. I hated them, even tho they didn't really hurt, they bothered me MUCH more than the stretch marks! lol There isn't much you can do at this point, maybe have surgery after baby comes, but mine did got a lot better after he was born. Unfortunately this time around I am getting them worse than ever-- I will hate even wearing shorts this summer = (.
Avatar m tn i am 15 and i have varicocele veins in my scrotum i recently had surgery to fix them but if their not fixed they can cause infertility cause they keep to much blood in the sac causing the sperm to die cause they get to warm and a vericocele only happens to the left nut
Avatar m tn Varicose veins usually result from failures in valves in veins connecting the superficial veins to the deep system in your legs. This is a mechanical problem. No medicine can restore this function. Horse chestnut extracts have been studied and appear to decrease the swelling due to venous insufficiency but the appearance is unchanged.
Avatar n tn I am varicose vein's I had my veins stripped when I was 20 years old I'm now 68
1138687 tn?1548643978 Hi, I am wondering why there isn't a varicose veins forum!? Where else might I post my varicose veins concerns? I posted in the Deep Vein Thrombosis forum but noticed it is rarely used. I'm not certain but isn't DVT a result of varicose veins? And if varicose veins are more common, with DVT being a side affect, then Why not change that forum to Varicose Veins? Regardless shouldn't there be a forum for varicose veins?
Avatar n tn Read How to get pregnant before you decide to remove the varicose veins in your husband, he argues it can be potentially deadly for male fertility
Avatar n tn My symptoms at this point are still pain on my right testicle (and spreads to the left sometimes), red and warm scrotum on the right side, feels like my right side of my scrotum is inflated, discharge from penis from time to time (it used to be much worse but now, after 5 months, is at a minimum), soreness around the thighs, difficulty starting a urine stream, and when I do it is not a strong stream like it used to be and I have to force the remaining urine out with a couple of pushes at the en
Avatar m tn t have to sit with a pocket mirror looking up and in), it occurred to me that men get something called a varicocele, which is a varicose vein in their scrotum. So I looked up whether women can get varicoceles in their vagina, and immediately what came up was a link to an article about "vulvar varicocities," i.e., varicose veins. They are not mentioned as being in the vagina, but can happen on the vulva. They're still pretty rare for women who haven't had kids, apparently.
Avatar m tn The thing was I was feeling the tingling in both testicles and i still kind of feel a sensation that is like I have a worms in my scrotum or a burning like sensation from time to time. It's not like before and most days I'm fine. Erections are fine, ejaculations are fine, urination is fine. The tingling went from being constant to feeling mostly when I lay down or sit down. Also one thing to point out. Before when I would tighten up my sphincter muscle and release.
Avatar n tn If you already have varicose veins you may have some doubts about taking birth control pills. If your varicose veins are mild and are not a symptom of a more serious condition, your doctor may agree to prescribe a low-dose estrogen pill. In this case it's up to you to decide what your priorities are. You may feel that the advantages of taking the pill outweigh the risk of varicose veins. That said I doubt if taking the pill would stop the problem! Ask the doctor for his/her opinion.
Avatar n tn Hi, Needless to remind you that you need to talk to your doctor, a cardiologist. If the varicose vein is in the legs, I understand that laser treatment is possible. Please google for ' laser treatment for varicose veins ' for more details.
Avatar n tn Thank you for your reply. No, my mother isn't diabetic or have varicose veins. She's not scheduled to see her ortho. surgeon for a couple of weeks but if she's still in severe pain, I will ask to move up her appt.
1580703 tn?1651904887 There is a simple solution for varicose veins. But you can not get immediate cure as taking medication.Because its a serum we have to apply on varicose veins twice a day for 2weeks.Then you can find the very best result.By using venorid serum the result will be permanent.
2020005 tn?1628125976 Hey there, i just want to say dnp47 that was a wonderful post! thank you! I agree, I would show it to the doctor. At least just so they are updated on whats going on with your body. I also have heard, if it doesn't go away after the baby, that apple cider vinegar (with the mother in it) can be applied to the area to help varicose veins. I haven't had any to see if it works yet on myself but if you are curious to try its an idea to look up and try.
Avatar f tn org/health/diseases/22877-bulging-veins It may actually still be varicose veins which is common in 1 in 3 adults. For most people, a bulging vein is truly harmless. Unsightly, perhaps. But won't hurt you. But for a rare few, blood clots would be the concern. The article gives situations in which these are more common. Being overweight, smoking, recent pregnancy or hormonal changes, intense exercise, dieting or simply getting older are all listed as triggering to this occurring.
