I had a protected sex encounter with a sex worker about 3 weeks ago. At the third day of my exposure, i did an Urine Culture Test for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. Test result is negative. However, these few days i am having some weird tickling feeling on my penis. Sometimes, i can feel some sharp tickling at the tip of my penis, especially when i am walking. But, I do not feel any pain during my urination.
My questions are:
- Is the urine test on the 3rd day conclusive?
m currently 5 weeks pregnant had it confirmed at the doctors today, due to back pain he tested my wee for an infection... the dip test showed traces of blood what does this mean ?
Im in the UK and it seems the first step is the urine test according to my NHS walk in centre but you can ask for the blood test straight away if your really worried....but I think that depends on any symptoms.
Ive heard different opinions on the urine test though, I have been told that its no good by one or two people but then afew others have said its fine for an intial check.
Ive had a urine test and it was ok so Im just curious, as it was clear is that it? am I clear for diabetes?

I think this is an infection that has developed over the last decade. It started from an infection of my penis, the symptoms of which included: burning when urinating, pain after urinating, and the veins became more visible. The first two symptoms have gone, but now urine isn't fully expelled from by body and i need to force it out by massaging the skin behind my scrotum. I have gone to the doctors several times. The first time i got antibiotics and the UTI i had disappeared.

If you have not used a condom during the intercourse, then it is possible that you have contracted an infection from the foreign flora of the rectum. Blood in the urine is a serious symptom and it should not be neglected.
What you need to do now is visit your doctor, for him to perform the necessary test and prescribe you the treatment.
When the infection will be determined your doctor will tell you if your partner also needs to be treated, most likely not.

I fully understand that identifying either pathogen requires specific test, but can standard urine test at least signal any potential bacterial infection? Also, if my Doctor tells me I have a low grade UTI, would STD possibly fall into that category? Would an STI that is causing me this much discomfort not show up in urine test or only be considered a low grade UTI?

I did a urine sample analysis at an urgent care clinic and the results came back as no GC/CT, the urinalysis came back as normal and the urine culture test came back as no growth and what not. My question is prior to taking this test, I used the bathroom early in the morning and ate breakfast. Before submitting my sample I had to drink a bit there at the lab just to even go.
