I took a half an aspirin to be on the safe side i read that it takes chewable baby aspirin about 15 minutes to get into your system and since i threw it up almost immediatley after taking it, I think its safe to assume I threw up a little, if not all. I'm just going to skip taking my DHA pill this afternoon, my doc. said I could actually take 2 dha pills a day if I wanted...I have tried when I eat, hours after I eat...
I started with cramping and pain, then the cold sweats and anxiety, then 2-3 hours after that all started I starting violently throwing up. Now I'm back to the pain and cramping all around and this clouded feeling in my head like it weighs a million pounds. Sorry, I'm ranting now. Anyway, I really appreciate all the support.
As soon as I got to the bathroom I started throwing up this yellowish white stuff. But every time some would come up I would sit there and gasp for air and none would come. I'm not sure if it was because I was throwing up so much or if it was stomach acid or if I was inhaling it. I'm also 31 weeks 1 day, so I don't think it's morning sickness. Has this happened to anybody before or know why it happened?
I have been sick with the flu for the past few days and on Tuesday, I threw up about 15-20 minutes after taking my pill. Prior to this, I had unprotected sex on Sunday, the day before I started having flu symptoms. I took last nights (Wednesdays) pill on time and I will take today's (Thursdays) pill on time as well. I'm generally always very good about taking my pill on time. Is there anything I should do? Should I worry about becoming pregnant?
one of the reasons i think i do this is cause last spring me and my mother where walking around in the mall when i felt very sick so i headed for a bathroom but unfortunatley i didn't make it i throw up about 3 to 4 times on the way to the bathroom and i was totally embarassed bout the whole thing and the fact i hate throwing up period!!!

I am having trouble keeping my pre-natels down. When I throw up, should I be taking another one, or just forgetting it?
It is not about fearing weight gain or weight loss at all that brings about the condition. The fear is of throwing up and can be a 24/7 fear.
He said to stop taking the Prometrium and call him when I start. I've been TTC for 4 years now (with a miscarriage a little over a year ago) and I just can't take it anymore. I asked him to put me on birth control pills when I start. I think their office must think I'm nuts after how hard I pushed to get Clomid. The roller coaster has just become too much. TTC is all consuming (as a lot of you know), but I didn't expect giving up to be this hard.
After 12 hours scared ( however my bf didn't ejaculate inside me) i took the morning after pill. Six days after i had a short mensturation of 3 days, it was lighter than the normal menstruation. Now it is the march 19th and i am not getting the period yet. Taking the pill am i safe? Do i have to worry?
I get a burp that smells like sulfur or rotten eggs. When I get this I know shortly, within an hour, I will be throwing up for the next couple of hours. This sometimes lasts for a couple of days. I also have bad, gas and runny stools. If its not coming out one end, its coming out the other. Is it something I've eaten that is bad, or am I suseptable to food poisoning because I've had it before? Can you help me?

The instructions say to take it with a full glass of water or and hour after I eat. I cant deal with throwing up food anymore! Im so miserable. Im hungry & I cant eat. I think Im gonna take one tonight before I go to bed, or just wait till tomorrow. & then keep taking them at night.
I started taking Ortho Tri Lo on Dec 30, the next day I threw up my second active pill. I took the rest of my pills on time. I switched to Necon 1/35 after only one cycle of Ortho Tri Lo. I did not take my Ortho Tri Lo inactive pills, instead I started my Necon 1/35 immediately. I have been taking the Necon 1/35 for about 11 days now. My breasts are very tender and I experienced some light brown spotting a few days ago. Should I be concerned about pregnancy?
I became very weak and deep breathing was impossible for those first 45 minutes. For the next 45 minutes (so now 46-90 minutes after taking the pill), the pain began to let up very little by little. I swore I would never take another 100mg Strattera again, as I had waited at least 24 hours before taking it. After those 90 or so minutes, I was still weak and it was difficult to talk.
Yes, my neck really hurt and there was no doubt I needed pain medication, .....but I continued taking them because they covered up my emotional pain. I was also getting older and didn't have the energy I used to. The pain pills made me feel younger. I could get so much done on them ........ at least in the beginning.
I am now Hyperthyroid with a level that cant even be picked up in the lab report because I am taking to much replacement.... I was then said to have anxiety which is funny because I have never had anxiety my whole life.. but I mean I do get anxious in situations like standing in front of a class and what not... But my question is has anyone been through this same situation... and could this thyroid hormone be causing the anxiety...
Hey, I take Yasmin 28, and am not familiar with your birth control. As far as me when I first started taking it, I was crampy and ended up throwing up, but am fine now. Maybe your body is just getting acclimated to the hormone changes. Best of luck!
about erroneous statements and about taking a break and trying to see someone else when you're up for it. You deserve to know what's going on. Blessings on your dx journey.
But I am scared of throwing up when the high comes. They tell me it's better than the painpoll high. Seems it don't get better than 6 pains and 5 somas at once 3 times a day. Idk honestly I want to quit but am scared of wd. I have done wd a dozen times since I started going to script docs on Houston. They are all over Harris county. I think I got a count of 389 of them as of oct 1st 2010. This is a good place to read what other ppl are going thru. I know I am not alone.
Good Job, for throwing the pill away from you. At this point I don't think I could have done that but that inspires me that you were able to do that, so maybe one day I will be able to do that too.
My doctor wants to add Rhodiola to the mix cause it has a synergistic effect and will help with my dooms day feelings and stress. I will be taking half a 150mg pill and then moving up. Is this okay? I have read that its okay and that there are no interactions with other meds..and I have read other people say don't mix them and its a bad idea. Maybe I can take the Rhodiola first after waking up and then Celexa a couple hours after that..Anyone have advice???
You need to take it with 20 grams of fat within 30 minutes before taking incivek which I expect you know. If you get up at 5, can you eat at 5? If so, take incivek just after. At nit then eat your fat at 9 and take your pills. For me its hard to eat at nine at night, 10 would be unbearable. Do what works for you. In regards to taking ribaviron. This is usually every 12 hours. I took my morning dose at the same time.
These drugs do not just leave the system if you miss a dose. Once started the effect of taking the pill can last up to 4 to 6 weeks if not longer. Its a hormone you idiot (doctor) not a vitamin... :( I almost fell off my chair also when you said "He thinks its Hashimoto". He thinks? hmmmm... where's the autoimmune labs indicating it? You don't rely on an ultra sound only either. A TPOab abd TgAb test can assist and should be drawn.
During those 2 months it could have just been me anxiously thinking about how I still feel sick that caused the nausea, or it could have truly been the Lexapro. I don't know. But me throwing up within hours of taking the med, and feeling very sick after just one pill shows that obviously it's a very strong medication. Now fast-forward 8 months later.
How are you feeling today? It's a good idea to use a back-up contraception method when you have the stomach flu. Throwing up and having "the runs" could lessen the strength of the pill also. Take care!
I checked into a detox as I wasn't sure if I could stop doing the pills alone. After detox I got hooked up with a doctor that gave me Subutex throughout my pregnancy and in May of 2009 I gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby girl. She is now almost a year old and was switched to Suboxone after I gave birth. I have switched doctors since being on Suboxone as the first doctor only treats patients for a certain amount of time.
I too had hypermesis gravidarum. It was so bad I was throwing up water. My doctor had me take the sleeping pill wake up and take the zofran and then eat and drink. It was the only way I could keep anything down. This is my second pregnancy and the only time I need zofran is when my migraines make me so nausea I can't eat or drink. Pretty much zofran is a pregnant's woman's wonder when it's unbearable. Good luck!
I asked if they would just change my breakthrough meds because I am just getting an immunity built up to them. I have been taking the Norco 10/325 for 5 yrs.(they put me on them right after surgery because of the pain). I think this would be the perfect med. balance for me and that would be to stay on the 50mcg. patches, tapper off Lyrica and start Topamax for Fibro and for the chira malformation headaches, go down on my breakthrough med of Norco 10/325 to Lortab 7.5 and have to stay on my 1mg.
