Avatar f tn My dr told me to take Doxy with water. I tried eating yogurt after taking it, but the nausea is really difficult to deal with. Its taking all I can to keep it down. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can tolerate this better. Also, I have had some symptoms, but not a total increase of symptoms that would possibly describe a herx. If I am not herxing, does this probably mean that its not working or that I could possibly not have lyme disease.
Avatar f tn Never thought I'd have to beg for antibiotics! Usually they are throwing them at me for everything!
Avatar m tn It was really tough to decide if I should go bUT after throwing up I felt better. It was a good 4 hours before I started to feel normal again. That was the worst pain I have ever felt. Horrible. I know for sure it was the T3s. Thank you to everyone who posted their stories.
Avatar f tn So I'm thinking that I HAVE A PROBLEM taking the antibiotics with the BT meds. Therefore, I'm NOT taking my BT meds for 10 days so that I can clear up my infection because I can't afford to let my body get infected from this bladder infection. (An untreated bladder infection almost killed my mother, she landed in intensive care in isolation for 2 1/2 weeks about 38 years ago.) That's why I haven't been very active on here the past few days because of the intense nausea.
Avatar m tn I expressed my concern to the ENT, and all he said was that he wasn't happy about more antibiotics either. I postponed taking the Clindamycin and have scheduled an appointment with another ENT who comes highly recommended. Unfortunately, I can't see him until Nov 19. Would I endanger my health by delaying the Clindamycin until Nov 19? (If this is the sphenoid sinus, I know that it's very near the brain, which heightens my concern.
Avatar f tn The throwing up could be due to something else. In any case, not all women throw up right at the beginning of a pregnancy. It takes a few weeks for pregnancy morning sickness to kick in usually.
Avatar n tn last night when i was with him he threw up a lot, and he told me that he was throwing up blood. he's always had stomach problems (acid reflux or whatever it's called) but he said he'd never done that before. i'm really worried. i looked up some stuff about it on the web, and got a lot of info on ulcers. he's only 19, but i guess it's possible. i'd just like to know what i should do, and if it's serious enough for him to go to the doctor.
Avatar m tn I keep getting light headed and nauseas then throwing up. Do you think maybe I need to take antibiotics? I have cephalexin in my medicine cabbinet that I two months old??
Avatar n tn and I was still getting sick then they thought I just had a Stomach infection then they said I just have gastroenteritis and they sent me on home from 1 night in the hospital because I kept throwing up and couldn't keep anything down... Then a week later a doctor asked me if I was tested for H.pylori and then I got it done and BOOM positive. Now here is what my problems are right now. I have nauseous or a gnawing feeling (very rarely do I have burning. Thank god for that at least).
572651 tn?1333939396 Tonight Grady and I have obedience Class. I am taking up knitting something I can do all these hours at the hospital.
Avatar n tn Yes, if an antibiotic helps, something has to be inflamed or infected but why doesn't it show up? I too had relief from them. Antispasmotics don't work. How soon after eating can anyone here feel the pain? Because I do feel it immediately after eating or drinking, it starts with a dull ache, then slowly gets worse like a spasm, and it is middle to right sided. I am calling my Dr Wednesday for help. I am afraid to try any more meds as my liver doesn't process them well.
Avatar n tn ( in tired all the time even after I wake up in the morning. I take care of my daughter and niece in the morning and I start work at 4pm and get home around 10. Idk what's going on with my body.

Avatar m tn I had a sinus infection and stupidly a filling done as I was getting over it with antibiotics. The tooth was very painful after the filling and a few days later I woke up with severe vertigo, literally dropped to the floor. After that I was dizzy on and off for over a month. The doctor kept saying it was a virus, benign positional vertigo, etc... gave me stemetil and serc but it didn't go away.
Avatar n tn I've had this problem for a while, that is B4 I read about regular old PEROXIDE!! Yes! I said PEROXIDE!
Avatar n tn that was a hypo-allergic reaction as the doctor described (where the body reacts to a large pollutant introduction after a sickness by become hyper-active and producing a lot of mucus to the introduction of pollutants) But It got pretty bad (with the humidity?), to the point that I started throwing up after meals. I went to the ER when I almost couldn't breath anymore, and I was diagnosed with bronchitis.
Avatar n tn JulesL you could have bile issues, but many factors can cause G.I. issues such as throwing up. I know this post is old, so hope you wen to see you Dr. right away, and if you have still not figured out what is wrong find Sheila Wagner online. She is a nutrition expert who focuses on G.I issues and usually cures the things mainstream Dr. can't.
Avatar n tn I use non-latex condoms every time i have sex. Now it happens after sex, and clears up when I use the cream. I just had a thought- could it just be vaginal dryness? I'm on medication- could be a side effect. I'm going to experiment, and use a good lube next time i have sex (hopefully tonight), as well as have a chat to my pharmacist about creams and stuff for it, and i'll let you know how it goes.
Avatar f tn I wish I could help you with your question on natural supplements, but I can tell you in just the past week, I have regained some sort of a sane lifestyle. After waking up in the morning, I have to use the bathroom about five times. As I have mentioned, I am on Cholestyramine. On my own, I have changed it to once a day, in the AM. I do not eat breakfast or lunch, just some crackers now and then. I am able to have a peaceful day with maybe using the bathroom once.
Avatar m tn You have to teach your body to not get sick and get used to not throwing up, by not giving it the chance too. Once you have you're gall bladder out you have to watch what you eat. Smaller meals more often. No Greasy food. Sip on cold fluids all day. Dont go long periods with nothing in your stomach, but dont eat large meals. Try it for a week or two of just very tiny meals with nothing greasy and keep sipping on gingerale.(cold) You will lose weight, and a lot of nausea will be gone.
Avatar n tn My girlfriend had ivf and had to stay after at the clinic for 4 hours with her pelvic up. my clinic let me go after 30 minutes. that made me nervous. any thoughts.
Avatar n tn After I had my son we were still in the delivery room for an hour becasue he ever time he tried to close me up I my uterus would contract and he would loose his grip and I would open back up again. After numerous attempts he finally was able to close me up but he rushed this procedure. While I healed my uterus & fallopian tubes bind together and became attached to the lining of my stomach.
Avatar f tn They say if you're going to Hyperstimulate you will do so a few days after retrieval. Well, my bloating, etc....just got worse and worse after retrieval. I really thought they were going to cancel my transfer. Luckily, it didn't get too bad, but progressively kept getting worse AFTER my transfer. It's been a rough week, BUT, yesterday I started feeling better. I've had more IVs and blood this week than everything else combined! I'm still having cramps, but they're definitely mild.
Avatar f tn I have read through these post and i did see that a couple people noticed that there period did not come on time after their HSG, but then It was hard to find a follow up if they got their AF or if they where pregnant. I am two days late and took a test with a negative result. I know I will need to test in a couple day to be sure but has anyone else been late after the HSG? and if so how long?
Avatar n tn But on the other hand I ended up pregnant about 9 months after the Ablation. The baby has insufficient lining to attach to, so she has basically become permanently attached to the uterine wall. I am schedule for a C-Section/ Hysterectomy at the end of May. I know there are alot of risks in being pregnant after Ablation, but my pregnancy has been pretty uneventful. I go ever 4 weeks for Ultrasounds to check the Placenta as well as the babies grow. So far so good!
Avatar n tn Now she is adding the symptoms of incredible gurgling noises, stomach pain, and almost frightening burps along with throwing up small amounts of food. She is on 40 mg of nexium 2 times a day, and she is taking reglan 4ml 4 times a day. She's on this med for 2 months now and not improving. WHat do we do????????? Her gastroenterologist wants her to see a psychologist. I will take her to one, but my instincts tell me that this is not in her head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She hates it!
