throwing-up

I am 9 weeks pregnant and I was prescribed the medication to help with morning sickness and every time I've taken it I feel great but today I'm still throwing up after taking it and I can't take a nap because my 2 yr old is wide awake and I have no one to watch her. What should I do?
Tuck, Melissa, and Alison No more throwing up, but I woke up with a new symptom today, a horrible migraine, which I never get. Can anyone tell me why my head is hurting so bad that now I feel that I need the ER department again. I took my vicodin, but it is not helping at all. I just don't know why this is happening, my doctor appointment with the specialist is on the 30th but I think I may need to move it up.
Hi. My question concerns the long-term effects of having taken excess medication previously.
I have severe anxiety of throwing up and ive had it for as long as i can remember. As i age, however, it gets a lot worse. Ive missed a lot of school, my grades are dropping, and my panic attacks and the stress and anger of it all has made me develope depression too. I recently started Lexapro but its not very helpful. Has anyone been successfully treated? Are there any medications without all the bad side effects and risks?
My 8 month shih tzu has been throwing up bright yellow bile every other day. Sometimes he throws up in the middle of the night, but most of the time it is between 10 and 3 in the afternoon. We have recently switched his food from beneful (which his old owners had him on) to Innova Evo with chicken. I have read that this is caused by an empty stomach. He eats twice a day, and most times when he throws up he has food down, he just isnt eating it. But he seems to enjoy the food when he eats it.
one of the reasons i think i do this is cause last spring me and my mother where walking around in the mall when i felt very sick so i headed for a bathroom but unfortunatley i didn't make it i throw up about 3 to 4 times on the way to the bathroom and i was totally embarassed bout the whole thing and the fact i hate throwing up period!!!
It is not about fearing weight gain or weight loss at all that brings about the condition. The fear is of throwing up and can be a 24/7 fear.

Ok, so now I'm home been for about a week. I've beening throwing up even the very little that I eat.... I could careless about eating. I eat something because I know that I have too eat. But, I'm still only eating bites and Dr says this is ok because I get full really quick. But, anyway for the last 5 days I've been throwing up everything that I eat.... I was at a med/ rehab Dr today and told this to him and he said not my speciality. I don't know what to do or suggest?
I told the neurologist this and he said it could be seizures and wrote me a prescription for oxcarbazepine (trileptal) and left it up to me of when I wanted to start it. 10 days after the appointment and after the EEG (showed a small abnormality in brain waves) and MRI (showed up negative).
I became very weak and deep breathing was impossible for those first 45 minutes. For the next 45 minutes (so now 46-90 minutes after taking the pill), the pain began to let up very little by little. I swore I would never take another 100mg Strattera again, as I had waited at least 24 hours before taking it. After those 90 or so minutes, I was still weak and it was difficult to talk.
I am now Hyperthyroid with a level that cant even be picked up in the lab report because I am taking to much replacement.... I was then said to have anxiety which is funny because I have never had anxiety my whole life.. but I mean I do get anxious in situations like standing in front of a class and what not... But my question is has anyone been through this same situation... and could this thyroid hormone be causing the anxiety...
Yes, my neck really hurt and there was no doubt I needed pain medication, .....but I continued taking them because they covered up my emotional pain. I was also getting older and didn't have the energy I used to. The pain pills made me feel younger. I could get so much done on them ........ at least in the beginning.
Anyone on medication/have coping techniques that work? Im currently taking Pristiq 100mg which is the worst medication I have ever been on. I have an appointment to switch meds tomorrow.

I had an incident of cardiac vasospasm 8-11-07 after taking Imitrex. The cardiac cath revealed a 55% blockage in LAD. In addition to throwing away my Imitrex, my new cardiologist placed me on Cardia XT 120mg and Lovastatin 10mg. My problem since being placed on the cardiac medications (it seems) is frequent nausea and occasional vomiting. Is there a relation? Are there medications or remedies that I might discuss with my doctor as an alternative?
Was given Safolak and Saflak suppositories to start, did nothing, It kept getting worse, was given predisone, could not keep it down (throwing up) was admited to the hospital....stayed for 2 weeks and received predisone injections, slowly improved but not completely. My doctor wants to add Rhodiola to the mix cause it has a synergistic effect and will help with my dooms day feelings and stress. I will be taking half a 150mg pill and then moving up. Is this okay? I have read that its okay and that there are no interactions with other meds..and I have read other people say don't mix them and its a bad idea. Maybe I can take the Rhodiola first after waking up and then Celexa a couple hours after that..Anyone have advice???
he was pretty shocked to hear that I have been taking between 4 and 10 everyday for that past 3-4 years. I explained that if I don't take them I feel sick and actually vomit (as I had been all morning today). It is only an over the counter medication to make you not sick. The ones I take are Dimenhydrinate tablets BP 50mg. I am not addicted to them I just need them medically. I have stomache issues, and I also take Zantac depending on what I eat 1-2 or 3-4 every night.
) She said it was no wonder I was feeling that way, that I was overmedicated and told me I should stop taking my medication for 3 days and to then start up again with .25 of Synthroid. I followed her advice but within 3 days of taking the .25 dose I was again having the same problems. I contacted my GP again and she said I should quit taking it for 6 weeks until my body clears everything out and she will retest at that time.

I was kinda a little out of it on the Operating table, but after that I was fine. I saw my baby right after she was cleaned up. They took her to the nursery to be checked by doctors and then 2hrs later or so they dropped her off with me and that was that. Ive had her ever since.
After careful consideration, I realized the benefits of taking the medication outweighs the overall risk, and for my continued health, and the health of the baby, it would be in my best interest to take the medication. I have regular ultrasounds and prenatal appointments, and so far, the baby is doing fine. I feel so guilty at times for taking medication while pregnant, but it's like my doctor says, it's either that, or traction. Good luck!
My current doctor changed me to Junelle this causes me to spend my first three days off the pill a month and the first three days when I start back up on them to be filled with an overly abundant sense of smell, a migraine that is so bad I cannot eat or take a pill and combined makes me spend seven hours a day throwing up...
germs is the last thing on a visitors mind but the first on mine.. you do not want a small baby that is sick having trouble breathing, throwing up and running a fever.. they can't blow their nose and may not like medication which makes it hard to give... its easier to just keep them away from germs for a few months..lol. if you let people hold baby keep hand sanitizer in diaper bag and ask them to use it because they won't offer...
I'm sure your PMP doctor was not stating to continue to take the hydros all the time with the oxycodone, which means your urine test will come up with extra medication. It's so difficult to get a great pain doctor, and to get on medication that works for you, please do not take the chance by trying to fill one prescription early. Please talk to your pain doctor and explain that the oxycodone amount is still not breaking through the pain and see what else he can do for you.
Told me I had MVP and panic attacks. Was worked up by cardiology and heart function was ok. Shortly after that episode, I went on the bith control pill. Never had another problem with it until I went off it 5 yrs ago... progressively getting worse along with my periods. I'm not a candidate for the pill anylonger, due to age, high BP etc. Could this be a real cause of these attacks? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I'm in the Phila area and I love my DOC.
You need to take it with 20 grams of fat within 30 minutes before taking incivek which I expect you know. If you get up at 5, can you eat at 5? If so, take incivek just after. At nit then eat your fat at 9 and take your pills. For me its hard to eat at nine at night, 10 would be unbearable. Do what works for you. In regards to taking ribaviron. This is usually every 12 hours. I took my morning dose at the same time.
I checked into a detox as I wasn't sure if I could stop doing the pills alone. After detox I got hooked up with a doctor that gave me Subutex throughout my pregnancy and in May of 2009 I gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby girl. She is now almost a year old and was switched to Suboxone after I gave birth. I have switched doctors since being on Suboxone as the first doctor only treats patients for a certain amount of time.
