It is my understanding that the thyroid has a part in
metabolism, and when we are hypo, our
metabolism slows down, As you know from experience, it is hard to get it jumpstarted again. Even with dieting and exercise.
I read that cayenne pepper upped the metabolism, I have been adding it to my food. Who knows, we get so desperate and want to lose that weight so bad, they could tell us to eat the stuff off our bumpers and we just might do it....ha ha ha
