On another note things have gotten worse at home its as if we r already divorced she stays away from me took over our bedroom and makes constant comments and insults toward me all in an effort to make me move out and away from my daughter.

If you are looking to get some help coming off Tramadol, this is a good place for you. People here are in all stages of beating this terrible drug. I know you can do it! I believe in you!

Though I don't recommend you do this again, it happens far more often then you may know, and although in the rare times that the DEA becomes aware- there would be a penalty for you, it is more a problem for your doctor. And really if it's for a smaller or personal amount, where distribution/sale is not a concern, it's not an enormous deal. So, again- I wouldn't worry about it. Good Luck with your recovery!
p.s. I'm new too. I'm detoxing from lortab 10's (12 a day) right now and when I say detoxing, I mean I've switched to Darvocets so I can stand the pain. I've done it like this before, as they say--it's so damn easy to quit, I've done it a thousand times! I'm also taking lots of vitamins & something to flush me out that the healthfood store lady recmd. I told her everything & she really helped. Even prayed for me.
I stick with it because I remember how the T-train caused INCREASED pain all over my body, in places I never imagined I could have pain. I stick with it because I can remember what it was like to be in the FOG of TRAM, to walk into a room, and forget why I was there, I stick with it because I would rather not get killed on my motorcycle from being too fogged to care what I was doing.
For some reason, I could not find a listing for methadone in the 2007 version of the PDR that is publically available for free online or at www.healthsquare.com (you can find the free PDR website is at www.pdrhealth.com, but the M.D-health professional/pay version is at www.pdr.
I only suggested suboxone as a last resort since you've been an active addict for 15 years. I would prefer to see people only go to that length if necessary bc it does help , but it is still a narcotic, so in a way it us substituting one addiction for another. I should have made myself more clear on that. Suboxone can be abused as well...so if you can avoid that, great!!!
I came right out and asked my doctor if he got kickbacks from the drug companies for prescribing Suboxone. He stated he was on salary at the place he worked and made the same amount of money no matter how many patients he saw or what he prescribed, and if doctors were getting money of vacations for prescribing Sub it was news to him. It may make you feel better to vent and lay blame on the doctor, but taking responsibility for your own actions is what you should be doing.
My mom has been addicted to ambien for over 2 1/2 years. she also orders pills online. last year she took 40 pills and had to go to the hospital and get her stomach pumped. she was taking between 15-20 pills a day. i think she wants to stop but she is just scared. a couple of weeks ago she threw a tantrum and ripped the phone out of the wall and got arrested and spent a night in jail and now has to go before the court sometime in the future. i just want my mom back.
Hi everyone - I have just come across this forum - and would like to ask help and advice. I have been taking nurofen plus (ibuprofen + codeine sulphate 12.8 mg per tablet) for 5 years - I take about 24 tablets per day (all at once - like the feeling along with the pain killing effects) I must give these up - for I understand this is addiction - and must find another way to deal with pain. I guess nurofen is much like tylenol (2? 3? 4?) - dont know which one.
I do have sinus problems and always have, but I have never really taken anything for it other than something over the counter during a cold. I have regular stuffiness and pretty much always have. I just have learned to deal with it. It would be nice to know were that smoke smell comes from. No one else smells it when I say I do. I have never smoked nor have I lived in a home were anyone smokes either.
