Avatar f tn What I see is a pattern of self-medicating by you and now you are looking to get on Suboxone for the Methadone and taking Lexapro without a doctor. this is all dangerous behavior and it is a vicious cycle. Have you considered inpatient treatment? I ask because you will need to treat not just for the drugs but for the issues that are leading you to this. Is this something you have thought about?
949477 tn?1247796031 I've been taking Suboxone for just over a year (started mid-June '08; at most 8mg/day, currently 4mg/day) and my menstrual cycle is all over the place. Last winter, I had 3 periods with 14 days and 10 days between them; all three were fairly heavy, lasting around 5 days. Now, I haven't had a single period since February, and there's no way I have any STD's or am pregnant save by immaculate conception. My weight hasn't changed much one way or the other.
Avatar m tn I'm on day 16 of subs. I wanted to do subs for just the 21 day thing. I'm wondering if I should take them a bit longer? I'm taking about 6 mgs a day now. I started with 10 mg the first day then 8mg then I went down to 4mg a day but I am a student and my day gets boring. My Dr gave me a ton so I end up taking 2 mgs more before the day ends. The short story before this was I was taking lortabs, percs,OC for a little longer than a year practically everyday.

4805526 tn?1359404749 I am currently on Suboxone and trying to stay off the downward spiral I have been on the last three years. My doctor prescribed me Lexapro to help with severe anxiety and depression. My phamacy gave me Celexa though (not sure if there is much of a difference). Has anyone tried SSRIs during their recovery? Did it help? I really do not want to resort to another drug but the anxiety has been bad. Any words of encouragement or advice are greatly appreciated.
243614 tn?1266197537 My question is, I had lunch the other day with a woman who had helped me with the suboxone study through adapt. She wanted to know how i was feeling and she recommended that i see the dr. who works with the study, he is the only dr. in town who can prescribe sub. She said he does have private patients that he puts on a low dose of sub and it does help with what i am going through. Also, with the arthritic pain that i sometimes have.
1325193 tn?1450127436 Hi. New here. I have taken vic about three times in my life. The second and this last time are horrible. I had a bad injury at work and was on vic. but have tapered down to three a day. My doc put me on tramadol and the first two days off the vic i had no problems, but now on day 4 of no vic i have horrible bathroom problems, anxiety, and others. How long will this last. I am currently taking lexapro from the second time I was on vic.
397118 tn?1219762250 Well talked to my doctor today and was change from lexapro to wellbutrin do you guys know about it? is it ok to take with suboxone do you know? well he is the one that prescribe both so you will think he know but you know Doctors this days.
Avatar f tn This made my back/leg pain tolerable, but it never goes away. Other meds were Lexapro for anxiety, which, according to my doctor added to tension and leg pain. I have never had a "high" and do not understand or know what that is. But, if I do not take the OxyContin, I am in such severe pain that I cannot stand upright. Prior to the 4th surgery, my surgeon said I was undermedicating and should take more of the oxycodone.
Avatar f tn I increased my doasge from 100 mgs to 150 mgs recently so that the medicine has a chance to start working at 150 before I detox from suboxone. If I ever miss a dose of Z, I get sick. You will go thru WD's from this medicine.
1111231 tn?1258903083 i just need some advise and maybe some feedback on the drug suboxone..i have been thinking of trying it for a detox method..
677105 tn?1226274313 When I decided I wanted to try Suboxone to get clean, I went to Suboxone.com to find a certified doctor. I called one on the list that lives near to me and called. They told me I could come in that afternoon and that he required at least 4 visits for $250. I said "wow, that is a great price". I made my appointment and went in.
Avatar n tn I'm in my mid 30's, and a new friend that I met several months ago is always sneaking off to pop various pills - mostly she's got Adderall, Xanax, Alprazolam, Suboxone 8mg, lexapro, roxicet, and a few others that aren't in any packaging. What would be signs of abuse? Sometimes she seems very out of it altogether, and it can take her a long time to put her thoughts together & spit the words out, and other times she acts very normal. She drinks alcohol daily.
739175 tn?1286940430 failed drug test turned down help. Went to doctor put on suboxone 8+8 each day. quit smoking, booze, and coke, 1st week felt great then after that very very depressed. started to hate the suboxone tapered to 8 the quit cold turkey. bad withdrawals followed by pot, coke, and booze to help but. now on day 5 of withdrawals. Very depressed and wd are still strong. should i hang in there or go back to the Doctor and still be depressed or stick it out. When do i feel normal ??
1018335 tn?1270080530 I have been on suboxone for 2 years and recently had a baby. It has come to my attention by psychologist and psychiatrists that i have bi polar depression and need to be on something so i don't continue to impair my family's lives as well as my own. I have anger issues and my moods are very unpredictable. I have been this way for a very long time. I have read that you can not take suboxone with certain antidepressants. I used to be on citalopram but it did not work for me.

Avatar m tn Does anyone have some good advice for a long time (2yrs.) Suboxone user trying to get off it. I know I've been on it for awhile, which is why I think it's time for me to get totaly clean. I am concerned about the withdrawl symtoms, and how long it could take. I recently lost my medical coverage so I just switched to Subutex because the price is MUCH cheaper, but I can't afford to pay for this myself fpr too much longer.
Avatar m tn I found an addiction specialist to weened me down from 100mg to 30mg and then I switched over to suboxone. I was on suboxone for 4 months then off, with little to no withdrawl effects. Sounds like your taking probably 20mg a day, unless the are 5mg pills, but either way if you cant stop by yourself then suboxone is an option. Since you are on a low dose you may be able to stop, if you could get your doctor to prescribe like valium, xanax or something to relax you.
Avatar n tn I just returned from a detox center, I was there for about 6 days. I was given Suboxone at first, and then Clonadine to being home for a week to prevent further withdrawal. I felt pretty good in the detox center, except the first day or two of Suboxone, I was out of it and could not even keep my eyes open. Then I felt okay. My question is, ever since I got home two days ago, I have felt very drowsy, and I cannot focus my eyes well for some reason, especially when I am driving.
Avatar m tn Lexapro, the brand name for escitalopram, is a widely prescribed medication known for its effectiveness in managing mood disorders. This antidepressant, belonging to the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class, offers several benefits to those struggling with conditions like major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. https://buylexaproonlinepharmacy.weebly.
Avatar f tn hi there, so i guess i can only describe my own personal experience coming off of subs...i took subs to stop using h and oxy's. ive been on suboxone and ONLY suboxone for about 5 months now. i was pretty surprised at how bad the suboxone withdrawal was...i was okay for the first two days and after about 48 hrs i went into pretty intense withdrawal.
